Some civic engineer needs to figure out a solid replacement for parking lots. They are so fucking anti-soul.

You are using the wrong station
They have a train station (Meadowlands Rail Station) they open up everytime the stadium has an event, and will 100% be open for the World Cup. You can get here without ever touching a car or bus
Your image even shows it

Do Americans know that you can build parking lots on top of each other, like inside a building? In fact I'm surprised they make people walk all that distance instead of juat making them ride an elevator.

I just had a look at the MetLife website, and they advised me to use the Frank R. Lautenberg Station.

I cannot tell if you are being retarded on purpose but the Meadowlands station connects to Secaucus/Lautenberg Station as the local hub. You go to Lautenberg from other stations in the metro area then get a connecting train to Meadowlands. Again the Meadowlands station is only open during days events are happening at the stadium so you could not get it to come up now
Even the website states "The travel time between the Secaucus Junction train station and the Sports Complex station is approximately 10 minutes."

Imagine spending ten minutes walking to the Metfag Stadium when instead I could spend tenbux on a new pair of jeans in Primark?

Hell, I could spend ten minutes walking over to Nickelodeon so I can fuck Victoria Justice instead of being bored to death of gatorade ads in the GayLife Stadium.

You can walk but most ameriburgers ride the shuttles that pick you up from the parking lots to the stadium entrance
>>
Hold the fucking phone, this "stadium" was only built in 2010? How soulless can you get?

NFL owners are obsessed with making shiny new stadiums despite most of them looking like ass. I think Chicago has the oldest stadium in the league and the Bears have only been there for like 50 years or so

Are the stadiums usually not built by the cities (on taxpayer money)?
>>
>>152168350
Yes, typically league revenues are shared except for certain things like luxury box income (depend on the league ofc). The team owner will start planting stories in sports media about how their "aging" (25-30 year old stadium that may not even be paid off yet) isn't "competitive," and if the city isn't receptive the owner will start making comments about moving the team. Then the city nearly always capitulates and figures out how to finance it, often by renewing or raising the hotel/motel tax. It's a huge scam but cities and especially local politicians (who then receive tickets in luxury boxes to these facilities) are terrified of losing a pro team; it's a symbol of civic prestige and having one leave is a black mark on the city like it's shrinking rather than growing. It's wasteful and extortive but that's why it's like that.
