>>152283426Does make you wonder how big the box is in a closet somewhere that contains all of framed photographs of yewtree/racist tier entertainers that graced the stage that theyve now had to take down. Hankey probably has his own personal one now on top of one or two dusty Tony Eccles'. Also if you picture the crowds pre-split it must of been some fucking sweat box vibe in the 80's and when Barney was in his pomp. Surely must have been through one or two carpets that place.
Belgian darts players are "disgusted" after bizarre situations at the World Championship for semi-professionals: "Then you win and get the message to get lost, unseen..."'Our compatriots received some not-so-pleasant news from the WDF shortly after their second-round victories. They were told—or rather, required—to pack their bags."They'd barely entered the players' room when a piece of paper was shoved in their faces with the names of four hotels on it," said Tanguy Borra, former darts player and darts commentator for RTL ("I'm a bit like the French version of Erik Clarys"). "They were bluntly told that the hotel in Lakeside was fully booked and that they had to find another one. This can't be right? We're at a World Championship here, and players are treated so horribly. Okay, it's not the professional world, but still. Players like François and Sybren don't have much money to begin with, so they don't book for an entire World Championship week. They take a room for the night they have to play, and then their stay is automatically extended. At least, that's how it normally works, and that's what it says in the WDF contract. Only, it also says in small letters: 'If available.' And now they've suddenly invoked that, unbelievable. We're in the last sixteen of this World Championship, aren't we?"
>>152283768And people thought the BDO was dead.
>actual production valuesQuestions will be asked of the WDF as to why they couldn't get S4C from the start of the tournament.
>Scotty Dog on English commentary
>>152283835Just look at it. OK, maybe not the crowd. That's still poor.
>>152283963Fuck's sake. Fucking image dropped.
Forgot that this was on, good evening lads.>>152283768Dear lord, that is poor, even for Nu-BDO.
Junghans is absolute shit. WDF ranking system once again not fit for purpose.
Robb v Rosney could be a really good match tomorrow.
>>152283738>racist tier entertainersThis is Lakeside, I bet they're still booking people like Chubby Brown.
>>152283835I wonder if S4C actually paid anything to cover it. WDF might have to pay them to show up when it's inconvenient for them.
Solid rotund frame on Sophie>lakeshite breaking again
for me, it's double 1
>American named Fatum>not egregiously fat (for a darts player)how dissapointing
I remember watching this cunt at the dutch open and he was a fucking arsehole
Looks like a younger, crueler Harold Bishop.
>>152284360Has she got even fatter from last year?>>152284822Walker needs to bin him quickly but he's a complete jobber on doubles
This is dreadful stuff
>Fatum crashing out with a 73.5 averageThank fuck that shite's over

>>152283768Full story on this: https://dartsnews.com/wdf/you-win-and-then-they-tell-you-pack-your-bags-wdf-world-championship-controversy-at-lakeside-with-players-left-searching-for-place-to-sleep>The Lakeside Leisure Complex offers just 98 rooms, and according to Belgian ex-pro turned RTL analyst Tanguy Borra in conversation with Het Nieuwsblad, that number is insufficient for an event of this scale. Although the venue remains synonymous with legends such as Raymond van Barneveld, Martin Adams and Phil Taylor, its limited capacity now poses challenges. For players, it means disruption rather than the steady routines normally associated with a major championship.>According to Borra, the Belgians were far from the only competitors faced with this issue, including German players, Women's WDF World Masters champion Lorraine Hyde from Scotland, Czech player Jitka Císařová and the Dutch darter Priscilla Steenbergen. Japan’s Mikuru Suzuki reportedly arrived in the players’ area with her luggage on the evening she was due to play, having also been denied a room. And interestingly right at the end:>He suspects that rooms were reassigned to television crews. “Having to move out the entourage at this stage – fine. But not the players! That’s simply disrespectful.”
I know Beau rattles in 95-100 averages on the regular and is by some distance the most solid womens player, but watching Mikuru batter Winstanley with a 96 average to win this is still a highlight on this stage
>>152285648Remember watching it, was fucking brutalImagine how pissed the blazers were at a Japanese woman beating an English rose
based suzuki
Theres good footage on youtube of chizzy and feel playing soft tip in japan on some tour several years ago. Chizzy just looks bemused and starts peppering the bull.
>>152285829Why they talking about him? Because Deta hates trannies?
>>152285829Shame we wont have stream chat on a game (s)he's in this year, and the obvious seethe from some of the competitors
>>152285856Deta pulled out of a Women's Series match against Man Leuven a few months back
Doesnt one of the actual dutch women refuse to play with them in team/country matches?
>>152285921Correct, Aileen de Graaf. If I remember rightly Aileen skipped the last Women's Matchplay where she'd qualified.
big darts
love rDeta me ladproper legend of women's darts
>Deta won a setAmazing
>>152286026I do too but she's out done terry jenkins in regards of coming up short in this tournament. If she can make it past Mikuru tonight and then not win it without beau in the field.....
Living up to the hype this one
>>152286064I'd honestly like to see the overall average of this year's tournament compared to the years Beau won. I'm guessing it'll be a good notch lower.
how will she choke this
*thud*oooh..!*thud*OOOOOHHHHH!*thud*YAAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHHH!
>>152286156Maybe a bit but tbf to some of the women like these two they are capable of averaging 80ish most games and some of the others fluctuate between 60-75, standard overall is sort of on the up and pretty steady give or take.
That's astonishing
>>152286179love rDeta
Ok Deta wp now if you dont go on and win this it would be a kwab of some size and distance
oh haha boring
>>152286345Double finish lads not dropping the ladyboy trolling never going to end well in this day and age

>39 dart opening set
>Mitchell Lawrie was born on 4th November 2010To put that into context, he was 17 DAYS old when Scott Waites won the Grand Slam.
Leighton Bennett surely on suicide watch
this lad will be a one and done with Lakeside I guess
>15 yr old no scoping a treble for a 180
>>152286890He doesn't turn 16 until November next year. He'll be back again next year and then surely straight to Q-School.
Last two games were pretty fucking decent, absolute dross before it but heh ho
