It’s funny, in the UK we don’t even have sports like basketball, or the padded American football, baseball and wrestling (amateur, Olympic and WWE) for talented athletes to go into. In the UK if you’re a good athlete you either become a footballer, a rugby player (way more brutal than NFL), or you become a fighter. That’s basically it. The mid athletes go the cricket and golf. In fact I think that’s the same with almost every other country in the world except the US. Football, rugby or fighting.
