Its because their midfield is an aging DM and an AM. 1 good pass gets straight through and puts immense pressure on the backline and keeper. If you look at the goals conceded (minus the freekick) they were all powerful shot from inside the box that most keepers wouldn't stop.
Teams realise that Man Utd are shit and they can score against them, which in turn makes the opposition open up their defence and become easier for Man Utd to score against.
