why are some coaches godlike in division I college but trash in the NFL? is it like being good at pubstomps but being actual crap against professional players?
>>152528243To be fair to Saban, he did make the Dolphins better but he never had a good QB and he left before he could really finish the job
It just means more.
>>152528243he paid top 100 recruits to play at bama while every other university (besides usc) had to play by the rules dumbass. the nfl had rule he couldn't circumnavigate like salary cap KWAB
>>152528243>secretly pay the players under the table>be good for decades>everybody else is now allowed to pay their players too>suddenly not good anymorelmao
>>152529850Not a coincidence teams like USC, UCLA, Cal, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and Florida fell off as soon as NIL became a thing. They were clearly paying their players under the table. Nebraska I don't know what happened there. They went from dominance to absolute trash
