why are some coaches godlike in division I college but trash in the NFL? is it like being good at pubstomps but being actual crap against professional players?

Not a coincidence teams like USC, UCLA, Cal, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and Florida fell off as soon as NIL became a thing. They were clearly paying their players under the table. Nebraska I don't know what happened there. They went from dominance to absolute trash
