It also depends on where you are playing because of the pitch. In Australia pretty much every ground is good for fast bowling but not as good for spin bowling. If you were in India the pitches there are usually better for spin from the start of the game, in Australia the ground doesn't get worse until the end of the game so you might have 2 or 3 spinners.
