His motor and defense are insane and underrated for how small he is, pretty sure he eas brunsons primary defender, go look at his boxscore (Also the refereeing genuinely might have improved like overnight, suddenly theyre not falling for that "feel contact into throw up the most blatantly forced awkward shot ever for free freethrows" and they didnt gift Brunson as much as his grifting and offensive fouling with his hand and etc, as he usually gets.)

Games like this really show how SGA is the MVP. Guys like Jokic or Luka never have to carry the offensive load or burden SGA does in the clutch: they can just divert to Murray or Lebron/Kyrie to self create when a team sells out on trying to stop. SGA can't afford to do that. The ball goes to him and he has to try and create magic out of nothing since the rest of the team is 3 and D guys who's 3 is on vacation every other night. It's sad as hell when the second most reliable guy on the team is Alex Caruso and not the other two guys that will be making 50m a year. The only hope is Ajay, but you can't be asking that out of a second year player.
