I feel like James has always pulled the strings and gotten teams repeatedly blown into "win now" situations. This has a twofold effect. When it works, everyone celebrates James again. When it fails horribly, the new pieces become scapegoats. That can be Ham, Westbrook, Luka, young players, anyone and everyone. Zero accountability and win in every scenario. Look how juiced up this guy is trying to mma the refs. AR drops damn near a 50 piece and he's trying to brush it off for his 8 or 9 point imaginary streak. He's playing against his own team. This is the type of person that will smile to your face then get you fired or creep your girl behind your back.

They could probably get seconds for any of Hachimura, Knecht, or Thiero. They have a firsts in 26 and 28 which they can use to draft players, a first in 31 which is tradable, and next year will be able to trade the 33 first. They will have loads of cap space next offseason, and probably the season after too. It's not ideal, but things aren't that bad. Look at how OKC have filled the roster around SGA and Chet, that can be recreated to an extent with what Lakers have, there's just not much room for error.

Exactly. His rebound numbers are so fake and always have been. He consistently has one of the lowest contested rebound percentages in the league (almost all of his rebounds are uncontested). He literally just leaves his man open in the corner so he can camp in the paint to try to grab a rebound if it falls to him
