You'd think as one of the first countries to play soccer, Ireland would have a league that punches above its weight just like England. But instead, their league is far worse than similar-size countries like Norway or Slovakia. What gives?

The league, apart from being underfunded, competing with other sports etc. is a niche interest mainly around urban centres. The new 3rd division is the true test of this since a bunch of the teams aren't based in cities (mind they're in large towns). It's becoming a hipster league with teams fully buying into its new base of the most obnoxious mullet-moustache cunts. Greyhounds are wonderful pets, once they get their exercise, they just lie around and want to cuddle. They are nice and easygoing. Very elegant looking animals. Huge doping problem in greyhound racing though, and they don't do anything about it. One trainer got banned, and his wife just took out a license and the operation kept going.
