Truth nuke time.

1. The Bills aren't that good. People overrate them solely because Josh Allen exists. As a team, they're not that great and they're not going deep this year. Allen can carry them for a few games. He can't carry them for 4. They need better than what they have to win it all.
2. The Chiefs dynasty is quietly over. They're not coming back in the same form ever again. Mahomes is a better passer than this general gives him credit for and he will still be a higher end QB year to year, but expect the Chiefs to be hovering around 9-8 with some WC failures here and there for the next few years until they fully collapse.
3. The 49ers are getting hot at year's end, but often teams that do this flame out immediately in the playoffs rather than go on a tear. They're probably gone unless they snag the one seed, and even then I wouldn't trust them to make or win the owl.
4. People in this general are underrating the Patriots slightly. I doubt they make the Super Bowl, they don't seem good enough to do that, but it's highly likely they make the AFCCG.
5. People are also overlooking the Bears. The defense shat the bed against the 49ers, and while they're overall bad, they haven't been terrible all year. If they have a Giants style tightening up in the playoffs, I fully expect them to make the NFCCG. Could even make the SB.
6. There haven't been two WC teams in the conference championship or SB ever. That's not going to happen this year either. So pick one team among the Texans, Chargers, Bills to make it at most in the AFC and one team at most among the Rams, Packers, and Seahawks/49ers to make it in the NFC. If you have some goofy shit like Bills vs Rams, forget it. Not happening.
7. In fact, to be more blunt, the Rams and Bills both aren't making it so just forget both of them. We're getting a weird winner this year.
8. But while you're at it, feel free to write off the Packers, Chargers, and Texans too. Any other teams or combos you want to pick are feasible.

Needed a break but I’m back.

Gotta admit my Rammies might be frauds. Dropped them to 8th in my power rankings. Gotta be objective. The defense has serious lapses. I see a lot of Rams fans saying we’ll be fine once we’re healthy but it feels like it’s too late in the season to get back into the rhythm we were in. We’ve got to integrate Adams all over again. Hopefully Lake comes back. I still feel like we have a shot, but are not front runners. Unlikely that we win 3 straight road playoff games at this point. Just how I sees it right now.

I think the Maye narrative is bullshit. But that’s East Coast bias for you. It’s existed with Boston sports media forever. Maye lost the Raiders. It’s just about timing. If Maye had lost against the Raiders last weekend instead of beating up on a tanking Jets, who’s defense has ZERO interceptions on the season.

That being said, Stafford blew it. Had 5 INT’s going into the ATL game. Now has 8, which equals Maye. Stafford still has like 10 more TD’s. I don’t really see the case for Maye other than team record.

I also think maybe it shouldn’t go to a QB this year. JSN and McCaffery have been as important to their teams success as Stafford or Maye.
>>
>>152753242
The team with the best quarterback in the league isn’t going “9-8” from now on before collapsing, that’s wishful thinking and I’ve seen it for many years. This is a quarterback’s league. Mahomes will still be dominant.
Mainly what happened this year was sheer exhaustion. They’ve played in five super bowls (three in a row). But they finally had an embarrassing season so all the retarded naysayers who have been saying every season that the Chiefs are doomed shit frauds are coming out of the woodwork posing like validated intellectuals. No, you are still retarded.
I appreciate you conceding a top 3 QB of all time “is a better passer than the general gives him credit for” though, very big of you. Retard

This year PROVES that MVP needs to stop going to a playoff bound QB. JSN, CMC, and Burrow all deserve it more. Sam Darnold is unironically a better candidate than Maye or Stafford. Without Darnold, the Vikings/Seahawks missed the playoffs. With Darnold, they competed for the 1 seed

I actually have total faith in the receiving room, it’s actually the best Mahomes has had since Tyreek. The issues with the offense are
1. exhaustion, as I mentioned
2. Nagy and the nepo hire
3. no runningback. Many are saying this will probably be solved by Jeremiyah Love in the draft.
4. still relying too much on Kelce, who is washed. After he retires this season it will be healthy for the offense to find new ways to work, similar to how Mahomes won MVP after Tyreek left by spreading the ball around more.
I’m not going to pronounce Worthy and Rice total shit until I see what next season looks like

I legitimately doubt it. I don't think you guys really realize how well he's done there with what he has. I'm not saying Maye is better than Stafford, but I am saying that Maye has shown a remarkable ability to make a pretty good offense out of what he has even considering the schedule.

You guys keep pulling the schedule thing out of your ass like it makes any sense. The Bucs were 6-2 when the Patriots had faced them and had already beaten the 49ers, Seahawks, and Texans at that juncture. The Patriots split with the Bills in very close games. These "shitty" teams that everyone is clowning on for the Patriots facing are actually beating on other teams. Not enough to have a good record, but they're obviously not pushovers if other teams are losing to them. But that's the thing: Drake Maye isn't. He's winning against them every time. You have to go back to weeks 1-3 to even criticize him for a shit performance against them.

The Rams literally JUST lost to the Falcons last night. You're claiming that if Stafford went to a team with a worse offense without McVay that suddenly he would be winning against these teams? lol? He can't even win against them with the good situation he's in now and you want to crap on Maye who DID beat them?

AFC
1. Patriots/Bills tie
3. Texans
4. Jaguars
5. Broncos
6. Steelers
7. Chargers

NFC
1. Eagles
2. Bears
3. 49ers
4. Rams
5. Seahawks
6. Bucs/Panthers
7. Packers

I know the 49ers just beat the Bears technically, but I trust the Bears more in the playoffs(and the reffies called back a Bears TD on the weakest hands to the face bullshit ever, so I actually think they would have won barring reffie interference).

Refball is not a legitimate excuse and having to rely on that excuse period against a team like the Falcons is a pretty bad sign. Regardless, Stafford backers don't have a ton of room to talk shit about the Patriots' schedule when they themselves just literally lost to one of those "cake" teams.
>>
>>152753739
>refballed
Kinda, I mean that was definitely pass interference on the Tutu throw, but Stafford missed Xavier Smith. The refs weren’t wrong when they called DJ Humphries for holding 2-3 times. He was holding. That dude needs to be investigated by the league. With all these gambling props and odds, it’s super suspicious. His holding calls were both on Puka catches if I’m not mistaken. One for a TD, and another for a sideline catch that set up a 1st and Goal. DJ Humphries was also the same Lineman who missed his block on the 4th and 1 where Kyren got stuffed. Stafford was also a terrorist in this game. Cant blame it all on refball.

I would pay Rice mainly because he learned under Kelce how to play with Mahomes and continue trying to get open, and has a similar role in the offense as a surefire target that will be needed when Kelce is gone. That will be hard to replace. I think he was just rusty this season

That's not context, those are excuses. If I made those same excuses for Drake Maye losing, you would clown on me for saying such weak shit. Teams are usually missing several players week to week late in the season. The literal only time losing to a weak team like that could actually be excused due to injuries is if the QB himself is out and you're running a backup, because that would have a significant enough shift where losing would be understandable. Missing an RB, TE, or WR shouldn't result in you losing to a bad team.

Out of the 23 seasons Tom Brady played, he only missed being in the top 10 in passer 4 times. Those years would be: 2013, 2018, 2019, 2022, and none of those years happened in his 20s. The only time Tom Brady made the superbowl with a passer rating below top 10 in the league was in 2018 when he was ranked at #12 in passer rating, marginally out of the top 10. Patrick Mahomes on the other hand missed the top 10 the last 3 years, ranking 14 in 2023, 16 in 2024, and 19 in 2025. Patrick Mahomes has already missed the last 3 year and he is in his prime. This is a definite decline. Patrick Mahomes already made 2 superbowls where he finished outside the top 10 in passer rating while Tom Brady only has 1 (ranked at 12 in 2018, marginally out of top 10).

So a quick summary:
Patrick Mahomes has:
A head coach that has gone to a superbowl without him.
A head coach that has a winning record with multiple qbs (excluding Mahomes).
A head coach that has a winning record without him.
Made 2x as many superbowls as Brady outside the top 10 in passer rating.
Clearly has declined the last 3 years despite having weapons to work with.
A top 10 defense in 2025 yet ended up missing the playoffs.

It's also worthy to note that in 2018 and 2019 Belichick was blowing all the money on defense and had drafted almost nothing but busts on offense since 2016 (while playing those busts instead of getting decent talent on offense, even if that meant FA or trading players). Most of the money was dumped on offense for the chiefs this year yet they still ended up with below average qb play and a top 10 defense

If you have to make the Wild Card game to make it to the playoffs you are a wild card team. >In the National Football League (NFL), since 2020, each of the two conferences sends three wild card teams along with four division champions to its postseason. The first round of the playoffs is called the "wild card round". In this round, each conference's division champion with the best regular-season record is awarded a first-round bye and granted automatic berth in the "Divisional Round". Hey stupid. The people who defined and made the term "wild card team" use it to refer to teams who made it to the playoffs without winning their division. They invented the term. That's how it's used. The "wild card round" has wild card teams and division winners playing in it. It has wild card teams but you do not HAVE to be a wild card team to participate in that round. This is how it has been defined for decades.

You, the idiot, the dumbass, didn't know that and were using it incorrectly. You are still using it incorrectly and refusing to use the correct terminology and throwing a fit after outing yourself as a dumbass and a newfag. You say it's semantics and it can be used either way, but nobody uses it that way that knows sports. Either use the right term or be a fucking retard but holy shit. Lol I remember when youngcuck was boasting all week before they played the Eagles in the playoffs then he spent the rest of the playoffs whining about outdoor stadiums
>>
In retrospect, it was worth it for the Steelers to job to the Browns to deny Myles Garrett the sack record. They know they're not winning the owl this year and it's pretty funny that they deliberately played to lose just so he couldn't get it. Even if he gets it in 17 games, it's always going to have a giant asterisk now.

Teams on a fourth-place schedule should not be allowed to compete for the Super Bowl. Give them a kiddy prize for their kiddy schedule, and let the big boys play in the postseason.

Shit, sorry. That was inconsiderate of me.

I don’t get the confidence against Philly last year. As a Rams fan, it was nice just to have a chance to win. Saquon and tha line just killed us last year in both games. I don’t think there’s excuses. Still fucking pissed and salty about losing to the Eagles in week this year though. Terrible officiating, and getting two kicks blocked in a revenge game and watching the game slip away..been some bad losses this year but that one still somehow hurts the most.

This but unironically and more severe: get rid of division babbies altogether. As Don Shula said about Belichick(paraphrasing here): "Good for him but I won during a time where you actually had to win to make it to the big game. There was no wild card round. You either won your division or you went home. We weren't playing the same game. I had it harder."

Either division winners only(so 4 teams per conference) or just get rid of divisions, have two conferences, and only 4/16 teams per conference get to play the playoffs. They'll never do it because of money reasons though. More games=more money.

Bet I could make that throw.

Or, just don’t reward bad teams with easier schedules. That seems like the easy solution

I loved the dollar theater, they tore ours down a few years ago.

There's no way they thought of that. Erin just didn't want his face against the ground as the record breaking photo.

I do this and after 5 minutes I click get captcha and it tells me to wait another 5 minutes. Haven't made a thread in over 8 months. But the shitposters and bought they're trying to slow down are still running rampant.
