Zoomers be like
>Ayo players in today's league are the best ever
>Those uncs in the 90s and 00s would be role players now because everyone now is just so much more skilled
>>
once lebron retires. the league has no stars, GG zoomers GG
>>
It's a complete myth that players are mor skilled today. They're just allowed to do anything they want
Not a single one of these superstars today would make the all star team in the 90s
All constraints have been removed. In the 90s you had to actually play basketball

And what it is, and I started this or I first layed out this thought or thise line of thought in the swedish flag anons no defenc thread with the white players

What we have no is not basketball. It's a completely new sport
Before the opening of the game to export to an international or global market and essentially soften it up so euros africans and asians could stomach the game, before that basketball was an American sport. In its ethos it's execution, it was purely an American product the way gridiron still is
What we saw from the beginning of the NBA to the 90s and early to mid 2000s was an evolution. After the mid 2000s, roughly around there, we changed sports
It's not an evolution but a shift so extreme that we are talking about a new sport, the NBA is now something like, we can call it global basketball, but it's not the same sport

Can you imagine if Reggie had the short three and was allowed to shoot with no hand checking? Guy would hit 500 a year

Yeah I remember when she was on TNT doing games whatever happened to her
I hated Reggie growing up after that 4 point play or what was it
But definitely the greatest shooter of all time these softies can't compare

Kobe and Hakeem had the best footwork. Those guys were so fucking talented, better than anyone in the league since Kobe retired

>>
>>152765304
Disagree , how many 7 footers in the 90s hand handles and could shoot 3s ?? The game is definitely more skilled now but the 90s prioritized physicslity and fundamentals..nowadays fundementals are trash because of aau, everything is a foul and no one plays defense
>>

>The game is definitely more skilled now
No it isn't, you have much more lax rules. If you make the players of today follow the actual rules then they'd not even be in the league compared to the 90s players
