Football generates 1/3 of all sports media rights worldwide, twice as much as the next sport (gridiron football). Yet European competitions account for about 90% of football's total. Competitions outside of Europe hardly contribute while it's supposed to be the world's most popular game. Why don't these lazy NEETs step up?
>>152782213The rest of the world can't catch up due to socioeconomic factors
>numbers out of my asshole: the thread
Stop thinking about OP's butthole
>revenue = popularity today, a Belgian was retarded near me
>>152782217China had a football boom but just as quickly went bust, more or less. S.Arabia has a sizeable media rights contract. Doesn't matter if it's artificial. Every shekel counted the same. Nobody said others need to catch up. Just punch your weight. Maybe after the World Cup the US might get a bump or maybe it'll be like after the 1994 one.
