how do I force myself to care about the NFL and NBA to better relate to my normie compatriots?
>>152796724nba fans are bottom of the barrel IQ wise so don't bother
>>152796724if the normies around you care a lot about the NBA, you need to find a new set of normies
>>152796724people who care about teams beyond >hey how about the local teams game last night, are not normies they are deeply addicted gamblers.
you dont. force them to talk about darts
My answer to this used to be video games, but sports games are abysmal now. Just embrace your social isolation instead.
go into game threads. memorize and repeat those posts verbatim to anybody who wants to talk sports with you.
>>152796724Pick a team in each sport and watch the games. The nfl you’ll have to watch every game, nba is a lot looser you’ll have to watch all the playoffs if they make it and also some of the big games and season opener and stuff. Then just do this >>152799960
Watch the games Memorize stats
Pick a team and stick with it whether they win or lose. Either a local team or if you have specific friends you want to chat with, just bandwagon one of their teams and then ask them basic questions about the team as you learn.
Sports are about many things, try and find ways to enjoy a sport by finding something you connect with and can track. For example if you like displays of glory like unique plays, or displays of intelligence like outsmarting your opponent. And if you connect to the tactical/strategy side notice how the coaching works. If you connect to the human/emotional side, focus on the waves of momentum teams experience throughout a game. That way you begin to understand what your normie compatriots are into and now you can recall moments you also recognized where a similar thing happened and connect. If you can’t appreciate sports being either for glory, competition, feats, strategy, triumph, or for the love (art, art is done for this reason) of the game, then idk.
>>152796724play madden and/or 2kgamble
>>152796724Develop a love for commercials
You don't need to care. You just need to use the same tactics you would use to charm and show a faint interest in any other BS. So you say you're not a fan of any given team, you just like to see a good game. That gets you off the hook of needed your own team. Then everything else is the same as paying attention to the meh interests of another person. Being the other person will carry the topic because people like to talk. Co-worker likes the NY Jets. Every now and then I'll ask how the Jets are doing. He bitches, but is happy someone remembered his team and asked. That's it.. Easy mode..
>>152796724if you have autism the stats, playoff odds and records might be interesting for you
Maybe you can learn to appreciate the NFL/NBA as microcosms of race relations.
>>152799960You reckon you'll be more relatable at work if you tell people how Davonkus was a KWABOTY?
>>152796724watch some highlights, pick a team and a favorite player out of these, read only the top nba stats and check the nba standings, then be sure to have prepared meme statements such as>yeah that mf has a bag frfr>no cap that nigga be ballin>senpai that wytboi can hoopbe as cringe as possible with these that will make you stand out as unique and cool
>>152800194thank you AInon

>>152796724Go get a football and throw it around with a friend. I wouldn’t bother with NBA desu. College basketball is kino tho.
>>152796724The people worth relating to watch baseball
>>152824118boomers arent worth relating to
>>152796724Ignore nba
>>152796724>how do I force myself to care about the NFL and NBA to better relate to my normie compatriots? Why the FUCK would you do this? NFL and NBA are absolute FAGGOT shit.
>>152796724Read these things1) All the defensive formations and how to defeat them (this will impress the most people and even hot women) like you'll shout out oh they playing blitz so they put 7 on the line but throw short passes and it'll work! Or they should move their safeties closer to beat the pass. Shit like that. Just use AIThen #2 whatever your interest is in life care a lot about that, if you are a people person learn little random facts about the players but if you are a computer programmer try using the logics and analytics in your research or conversations.Find a particular thing to be a fan of, punting, offense/defensive line, QB, running back and root for that side and learn what makes that position tick. Then you will achieve the ability to hold a conversation about any game.

>>152796724Sweaty u r a normie
>>152800066Presuming you're a true sports fan, if you aren't A) Attending games in real life, buying a ticket or tagging along w a friend or senpai/lover B) If you arent streaming nearly every game with Sportsurge presuming you don't get Jewed by Youtube TV Cable etc, are you even really a real dedicated fan?Sports are an analogy for overcoming adversity in daily life for the real ones. The rest of ya'll can just fight each other to the death when someone's shoes get stepped on
