4th division stadiums in Brazil fr be looking like this
>>152809349And it doesn’t even have a running track, so all they can use it for is football. I sure hope they can somewhat fill it from time to time
Uberlândia is the most underrated city in the fucking world.
Dunno why South Americans seemed to embrace bowls while Euros didn't
>>152810584Italy forced itself to embrace bowls because they had to rely on Olympic funding for stadium redevelopment for the 1990 World Cup, which was only possible if they installed running tracks. Local councils own the majority of football stadiums in Italy too, and they aren't solely motivated by football needs. Most of Europe otherwise lacks the bowl because clubs own and operate their own stadiums with stands placed as close to the pitch as possible.
>>152809592>>152810584every stadium with a running track should be bulldozed
>>152809349And it looks 90% empty
>>152810453>UberlândiaUberlândia Uber Alles!
>>152821048It apparently has a capacity of 53,000 (seen some contradicting numbers), no wonder it's empty in the 4th tier. Uberlandia is a large city, but I imagine most Brazilians follow the largest club of their regionsAnd given how large Brazil is, you can't expect away fans to turn up either
>>152821171Übermenschenland...ia>>152809349Don't they have the Estadio Mané Garrincha in Brasilia? It has a capacity of 70,000 and was built for the 2014 World Cup. I think the main tenant isn't even in Serie D. And I've been told most people in the city of Brasilia are mostly fans of established big clubs anyway since Brasilia is a fairly new city with little culture
>>152810784the phobia of running has really reached a critical stage in america
>>152821048Another 4th division stadium in Teresina
>>152821314Lol
>>152809349oversized stadium for the size of the local team unfortunately>>152832393this one could be filled in a regular basis if the biggest team of the state, River, was regularly playing near the first division, but this year they won't even be playing the first tier of their regional leagueLast year we did have impressive attendances in Brazil's fourth tier though, mainly thanks to Santa Cruz, América-RN and Joinville.Santa Cruz has the world record for biggest attendance in a fourth division match.
Rectangle stadiums > bowls. There should be zero space between the stands and the field. When i call the ref a faggot i must be sure he heard me loud and clear.
>>152821048More like 99% empty
>>152833662This looks like a design to kill a lot of people
>>152833662Reminds me of the Müngersdorfer Stadium in Cologne, but in smaller
btw we have a tradition where we bury former players next to the stadiumhere's another example, that dome is actually a small cemetery where they bury their former players, they open so you can visit, pray and leave flowers and stuff
>>152839430So much sovl
>>152809349>oversized stadium built with public funding for a tiny countryside city because the mayor was jealous of the neighboring hillbilly town having a stadiumthanks...
>>152833300I thought Rangers had that record with 49,200 or somethingThe German record is held by Alemannia Aachen, they sold out their (restricted capacity) stadium of 33,000. They dominate the entire list here. Probably could have sold a few thousand tickets more, 40,000 would have been doable when the hype was going strong and they were about to make promotion. But above 40,000 is obviously crazy in any case, especially since Santa Cruz isn’t that huge all in all, while Rangers are a special case
>>152835155>but in smallerWell, yeah. It's a picture.
