This is proof that they are still a serious contender when it comes to international football and would probably finish at least Quarter Finalists in the upcoming World Cup. With other nations illegally invading others, racking up massive killcounts and STILL getting to play football, is it time UEFA and FIFA apologised and reinstated Russia? The problem is not Russian invading Ukraine. The problem is that Russia is a dictatorship and Ukraine is not. Dictatorships have no rights whatsoever and democratic countries can do with them whatever they want. If Ukraine, or Estonia, or Japan, or San Marino decided to invade Russia or kill Putin, that would be both lawful and good. I say Russia but I could say China, Venezuela, Somalia, and even those dictatorships that, sadly, have to be allies of the Western countries, like Saudi Arabia.

I agree that Russia normally should be part of sports event. The Olympics, ice hockey, football ... But what you should get banned for is systematic doping. Not like there's no way for double standards to creep into that aspect as well, but it's still not really negotiable. Russia fucked up in that department as well
