There recently has been some sort of small awakening because they began to acknowledge that people mature at different speeds. FAs have noticed that the pressure at youth level often leads to teams using the physically most developed players, not the ones with the most potential. It’s hard to actually do anything against that, but if they could, it would be bad for blacks (or rather, it would stop being so good)
But at the same time, FIFA wants to appeal to zoomers or something by making the game more fast-paced and offensive, for example by giving advantages to fast players like with the proposed offside reform, and it has become good courtesy for any sport to try their best to expand into Asia and especially Africa. Cycling, handball, and football does it as well, despite already being very strong there
And Europe will obviously see more and more ngubu players as the demographics change
