bills are last hope for lake erie and the northeast in general
Can we all agree that McDermott is one of the smallest brained coaches in the NFL? You have your game winning TD on the 1 with a minute left, the other team burned their last time out to avoid a run off and you have three time outs with a minute left, why the fuck do you not take a knee, burn the clock down to sub-30 and make the TD that was all but inevitable? How can you be a veteran coach with absolutely no strategy besides unga bunga make touchdown?

>>152930156The touchdown is never guaranteed. My biggest criticism is that he goes for a little too much when the field goals can help us. It almost cost us the Cleveland game.
Bills are gonna choke every playoffs until Allen retires then it's 20 years of being in the basement for them.
>>152930315Regardless, if JA couldn't convert a TD there, they'd still have another down to convert. And if he fumbled in the endzone it wouldn't matter anyways so why not burn time when you hold all the cards?
>>152930156yeah when they are barely trying to stop them the play before it's pretty much a free 40 seconds. should've stopped. there's also the score where you're making a tie much more likely by leaving the time. you're not just giving them 40 seconds to win on a td like you're up >3. if they get that likely field goal you're also putting a team out for overtime plays to stack some more injuries and hurting yourself next week too. the winning play is just snap the ball and fall forward all of one time.
>>152930605>>152930729It looks easy until it suddenly stops looking easy and we're getting stuffed or we fumble. I take the points.
>>152930902I dunno, my perspective is if you're not gonna get it by 2nd down the chances of getting it on 3rd or 4th are just as slim.
The weather is never beautiful in Buffalo this time of year.

>>152931385As someone who was born and raised in Buffalo, I can say honestly that I appreciate my winter weather. Sure, it's not always "enjoyable", but it's home.
