For maggi noodles it is ideal to keep a little bit of water to lubricate as there is a lot of seasoning
But for mi goreng you want that shit dry as you can as the lubricant comes from the wet seasoning, more specifically the oil seasoning

Another good noodle selection is shin ramyun, it is also the best noodle as it is the perfect thickness

For maggi yes as i dont add the seasoning till after to get a better seasoning to noodle ratio
Also by doing so with maggi chicken noodles you can add some sweet chilli sauce or if you want some faux satay add a bit of peanut butter

the flavour is different to with the juice, tastes more savoury. its pretty good, can see it working with some veggies stir fry style
might be best with a little less of the falvour powder though as it is very salty

got a massive bottle of abc brand kecap manis just to add more sweet onions to my mii goreng
