Already surpassed by Mahomes. He literally doesn’t need to play another snap in the playoffs, he just needs to pad his regular season stats for a few more years
>>
>4 mvps
>only 1 superb owl appearance
more evidence that the mvp should include the postseason

that he really, really, really likes women

He'll be known as the guy who really, really likes girls

Hall of Famer, but not Top 10 All Time.
>>
>>152960111
He’s #10
>>
At his best, Rodgers was the GOAT. Anyone with eyes could see it. It's a shame that he lacked the mental discipline of a Brady to capitalise on that talent.
>>
>>152960113
1. Brady
2. Montana
3. Elway
4. Marino
5. Mahomes
6. P. Manning
7. Unitas
8. Young
9. Starr
10. Brees

Nope.
>>
>>152960208
He lost to a team that turned the ball over five times. He was never the GOAT.

Nah, the best peak QB season of All Time from game 1 of the regular season to the Super Bowl is Steve Young in 1994
>>
I think he's coming back for another season. Stoolers will go all in and get him some better weapons than the corpse of MVS and Donkey Kong.

Somebody explain to me why the Steelers would go again with Rodgers when he has looked finished for 3/4 years now. What would be the logic?
>>

>4 MVPs
pipe down try hard
>>
>>152960942

he's still better than half of the starting QBs in the league
>>
>>152959733
3rd best Green Bay Packers QB of all time (could drop to 4th depending on if Love gets an owl.)
>>
>>152960947
That’s not even the most all time, so this doesn’t help your case. Also that’s a regular season award, so it has nothing to do with the playoff chokes I mentioned. Votes are cast before the playoffs.
>>
>>152960942
If they think he can train a new QB it would be great to have him around and draft a new one. Also he’s still pretty good if not elite.
>>
>>152960941
Slingin Sammy Baugh as well.

Rodgers had unsurpassed physical skills. There are different ways to throw the ball but none better.

But he rarely had as complete a team around him the way other greats did. And that somehow matches Rodgers' personal style of being a loner.

Backwards NorCal Brett Favre.
A weird gay who hates his Christian family. Packers-Jest-Struggling Norf team trying to win where they always lose with a last ditch 40 year old who looks 50
>>
>>152960223
I don't believe you can put him above, sind 1989:
Brady, Montana, Mahomes, Peyton, Elway
Everyone else he has a strong argument over.

This.
>4K yards on 70% completion
>35 td passes and 7 rushing tds
>112 passer rating
>scored 44, 38 and 49 points in their 3 playoff games
>beat the Cowboys juggernaut that was going for a threepeat
>threw 6 touchdowns in the super bowl and was the game's leading passer and rusher

And the thing is, they were blowing teams out so routinely Young ended up sitting out 4th quarters a lot so those stats actually undersell how dominant they were. He put up those numbers playing like 85% of the snaps he could have. That was a fuckin season, let me tell you

>>152959733
He is a HoFer but I think the problem with Rodgers is that his on the field ability didn't translate into enough success and on the field heroics always diminish over time. Context is lost. Highlights just become random plays that look less and less impressive as the years go by. Looking at any random highlights HoFers from the 80s is exactly like this.

Basically, if he had won a 2nd Ring, with all of those MVPs he would have been a Top 5 QB. As is, he is maybe top 10 and will be pushed out at some point.
>>
>>152960942
The Steelers can't do any better. Rodgers should move to a new team that isn't complete shit.
