just like me predicting jadon sancho would be a total flop even before signing for man united, i also thought amorim was also a poor signing from the get go. his insistence of playing 3atb no matter what should've alerted some red flag in the fanbase but of course being pessimistic from the start is also not a good mentality to have so my only positive take was well united have a boatload of CB depth suddenly because of the signing of De Ligt, Heaven and Shaw and also Mazraoui can also play there, on top of waiting Lisandro to get fit so maybe Amorim could do something with that enormous amount of CB depth in the possession.but boy oh boy did he destroy everything not even a year after he got hired. this is unironically the worst United have ever been in modern history, this particular era will be discussed a lot in the near future. he made ten Hag 100x more bearable.
