It's amazing just how popular cricket is all across the world, with a broad appeal spanning all cultural backgrounds, bettered only by football. Some nations aren't quite there yet, but the rapid growth of the game could see future World Cup expansion as more teams become competitive. You DO support your national cricket team, right?

>>152995370Only county cricket for me.
>>15299537010 years ago >our cricket team was chubby middle aged brits with a few slovene youngsters thrown in there, now it's fully indian
>>152995370That's a lot of jeets, but I thought there would be more. Presumably the non-jeets on the euro teams are Aussies, Brits or Saffas.
32 team World Cup when?
>>152995370>"""nor way""" wearing first class whiteswho do they think they are?
>>152995370The rise in popularity of cricket in nontest nations is directly proportional to the influx of indian immigrants in recent years
I feel like people underestimate just how many jeets there are in the world. You could send a million jeets to every country on earth and India would still have a population over a billion people There is a cricket league here that is turbo irrelevant. Like the games aren't shown anywhere on tv or streamed, the players end teams have no wikipedia pages yet the highlight videos will get like 10+ million views from all the people in India watching it
