I don't know why people keep saying this. He had to play the 3 seed and then the 1 seed. The Jaguars were hot as shit going into the playoffs and the Bills barely scraped by them. The Broncos were winning every game and the game went to OT. It wasn't an easy path at all. Those same Jaguars and Broncos teams absolutely gaped Mahomes. Mahomes/Burrow/Lamar were literally not good enough to survive the field in the AFC this year and everyone is talking about how "easy" it is just because they're swayed by media narratives.

The truth is this year has never been harder to get through. The AFCCG is unfortunately ruined and that is a significant handicap for the Broncos but the rest of it has been legit teams the entire way. You guys just don't know what to do when a season isn't guided by QBs that the media has hyped up as "the big ones" and think the teams must suck if the remaining field doesn't contain an established QB.
