Yeah not riding vs Grug/Pogi clearly doesn't work when they regularly get huge solo wins.

Instead, how about some collaboration? But I know that isn't part of the Pissma DNA

Really looking forward to see how they progress. I admire his plan and his ambitions to become a WT team very quickly. I think it's realistic, some shitter teams in the WT and pro continental ranks right now. I think they just need to stick to their guns and not sell out by losing their national identity. Too many teams have done this and it's been ruining. Sky probably most notable.

All chips on Quinn Simmons please. I know they speak very highly of him, rightly so. He's very under utilized. Also surprised me that he's still quite young, feels like years and years since he burst onto the scene. He will miss out on the WT maybe for a season or two, but Pidcock seems to be doing fine, fantastically even. I think a team built around Simmons makes a lot of sense and I do believe he'd deliver. There is risk, but Simmons is there abouts already. Only concern is the staff and whether they are up to scratch.

>from game changer to bankruptcy at lightning speed: has the bubble around Gravaa burst already?

>The birth of Gravaa seemed to trigger a eureka moment in the peloton, but just as the gadget was loudly unleashed upon the cycling world, the bankruptcy has now been declared quietly. What's going on with the company behind the tire pressure system? Is it finally over, and will Wout van Aert have to go back to the drawing board?

For several years now, it's been a fixture on the final stretch of Paris-Roubaix. Will it work or not? Will Wout van Aert and Visma-Lease a Bike utilize the gadget that (on paper) could give them a clear competitive edge over the competition?
Gravaa's ingenious tire pressure system has been in use in the peloton for a while now, and the program is always revived before an important cobblestone or gravel event.
But this cycling year, Gravaa has been in the spotlight surprisingly early. And for all the wrong reasons, as news broke last week that the Dutch company had been declared bankrupt.

"We were able to produce and market our product. Sales were also reasonable, but this was no longer sustainable."

Exact sales figures are not shared, but inquiries reveal that it concerns "only about a hundred sets", certainly far too few to keep their heads above water.
The fact that the cost is a detrimental factor—the purchase price is always quoted as €4,000—is sometimes dismissed. "You have to look at the cost of a wheelset, and that quickly adds up to €1,500."
"Early adopters are less concerned with the price, but if you can lower the price to the price of a power meter, you get a completely different playing field."

>Half of the Nordic national team athletes competing in Winter Olympic sports have not been tested for doping outside of competition – in a year.
>“It's bad, and more testing should be done. At the same time, this is a trend that has been going on for a few years, and I've asked why this is the case,” says Sebastian Samuelsson, continuing:
>The answer I get is that testing is very expensive, and almost all tests come back negative. And then you might wonder: “If you want to catch cheaters, are multiple doping tests an effective way to catch cheaters?”

I can't ride a bike for months because my hemoglobin has dropped below 9 after a massive fucking nosebleed caused by blood thinners I was put on for a stent after a cycling accident last year that caused a double carotid dissection.

not even lying when I say blood literally flowed like a waterfall out of my nose just randomly a few days into taking blood thinners, and I lost so much blood before they finally decided to so surgery days after blocking up my nose with these (most painful thing I've ever gone through in my life was them inserting these things multiple times after I re-bled after they removed them after 3 days)

anyways this shit fucking sucks. I went from riding my bike 50 miles a day for a few years now to not being able to ride at all, and getting exhausted just moving around a bit, can't do any strenuous exercise until my blood cells come back which takes months even when you supplement it with iron.

I'd kill for a lance-armstrong tier blood doping right about now to rebuild my blood so I can get back to riding

blood transfusions can be dangerous, and they won't give you one unless your blood drops to critically low levels. I dropped as low as 6.8gm/dL but they will only transfuse you when you go below like 5.

the problem is hemoglobin takes a long ass time for your bone marrow to produce a fresh batch of RBC but my levels eventually normalized to around 9, normally I'm at 16.5 so I have a ways to go before I'm back to where I was.
It just sucks, I spend almost every day it isn't torrentially raining or windy riding my bike for the last few years now, it's become part of my routine every day and now I can't do it for 1-2 months.
>>
>>153180410

I have before and none of my frens seemed interested. It is our natural diet, mostly raw meat, eggs and raw dairy, some fruits, juiced celery and parsley. 40 percent of calories should be animal fats. No cooking to destroy enzymes and interfere with digestion. I eat a fuck ton of butter cheese and eggs now and never felt better, even sleep less and have real energy because I'm not taxing my digestive system with fake slave food.

That's a nice milestone. Why are you so focused on a 'natural' diet yet choose such an artificial manner of propelling oneself? Wouldn't it be more 'natural' to be a r*nner and/or swimmer? How is your stance on fermented foods and non-heat cooking methods used in things such as ceviche? Which flavour of egg is your favourite? I have a duck egg guy now, want to try goose egg sometime this year.
I think most people here are interested in some wild dietary and nutritional takes, but could do without the whole "if you don't do the exact same as me you're retarded" bit.

I like the kefir the Amish sold me. Haven't tried high meat yet but it's on the way, will be ready in a couple weeks at the earliest, VonderChad says it's a natural high. I haven't tried any other eggs besides chicken but there's a farm 30 minutes away where I get raw milk, they sell 30 true free range eggs for ten dollars, much cheaper, fresher, better tasting than what you'll find in stores. Only minor complaint is the the layer feed they use contains a small amount of onions.

Other animals do use tools, apes, corvidae, formicidae, even one cow in Austria allegedly. So what stage(s) of the human past do you consider 'natural'? Cooking is a tool as well in my opinion. As Leslie White put it, "extra-somatic means of adaptation". Do you not think our current bodies have at least partially adapted to cooked foods? Our jaws have significantly shrunk for instance.
Cheese is also fermented of course, so it wasn't the greatest question from my side.
I have been behind many flags on this general, used to mostly engage in the drama and race event discussions, but lately I am becoming more interested in learning more about the (pseudo)science that goes around in the sport and just about the body in general.
According to most sources I find, different eggs have very different nutritional value. What is high meat? What is bad about onions in the chicken feed? VBI ALLIVM, IBI ROMA
Roma, the terminus of the Giro 2026.

If you're that serious about natural diet, then you should also eat seasonal like our ancestors did. This means carbs, veggies and lean meats in summer and nuts, animal fats and fasting in winter.
Since evolution also made many of use lactose tolerant and we learned to make foods digestible through fermentation it's beneficiary to also include those in your diet, but seasonal. Sauerkraut as example, is great in winter.
Also berries, berries and berries. Berries are the closest we still have to ancestral food and we ate it for 2 million years

You also want to 0mad or 2mad. (1 or 2 meals a day, nothing else, no snacking) and use seasonal windows for it (16 hours fast in winter, 10-12 in summer)

Food & mainly ancestral diets and lifestyle in the northern hemisphere are my special interest (yes of course I'm an autist)
>>
>>153182154
why would i want to eat like literal cavemen.
>>
>>153182215
Since the only thing that genetically changed since then, is that we became lactose tolerant and learned fermentation techniques.

Your blood sugar is actually more stable in summer than in winter because your body expects more carbs in summer, so it's smart to adapt to that. Our metabolism reacts differently to different types of fat, based on what was available seasonally.
We're talking millions of years of basically the same lifestyle and we started shitting on it 5-10k years ago with the agricultural revolution. Then with the industrial revolution, especially post ww2, we decided to wipe our ass with anything natural. We couldn't be more disconnected of what we actually need.

I'm not saying anyone should live like a caveman, but anyone that comes bragging with keto-like diets or other "muh ancestor ate meat" diets (as there are many on /ck/) should go all the way and do it actually right.

I’m sorry but it was me who chased down Jonas, not those little hispañics. I was on my e-bike on holiday because I’m currently 20 kilos overweight.

I saw a full kit wanker in Visma gear struggling up a 3% gradient - so I punched it. I pulled up right beside him and noticed it was Jonas. Naturally I took my phone out to begin the livestream, but Jonas got mad and said “I don’t consent!” I shoved that little bitch and sped down the hill. Told the story to some Aussie expats at the pub and they cheered for me.

Look as far as this very thread. It is infested with reddit types. Self righteousness, they all seek the group consensus on everything. Obsession with 'kindness'. Look for the easy gotchas. Everything they do is based on group dynamics because they're utterly pathetic. That is the upper working class. Their life is dependant on the group. If they step out of line, their cozy office wfh job is pulled from them, their friendship clique boots them out, they won't be able to maintain their current lifestyle which is built around displaying their superior socio-economic status to the proles. Cycling media are these people. Most cycling fans are these people.

Given, I've seen less since the clique fucked off to an alt chan and the threads have been much cleaner. Much fewer gay as fuck forced inside jokes to signal their part of the group. I hope cycling media rots I hate these cunts so much.

That's because those people only ever have to interact with colored people when they come to clean their pool, mow their lawn, clean their house, fix something in their house, etc. They don't ever have to deal with any of the side effects of importing millions of unknown people from third world countries. They just get the benefits in cheaper labor.

While I think Pogacar's shilling of a shitcoin is worthhy condemnation, him moving to Monaco is good. Had he stayed in Slovenia, he would pay more taxes, and receive worse services. Unlike the government of his homeland is more corrupt and disfunctional than than that of Vingegaard.

It will never improve if everyone earning money would register elsewhere though. Southern European countries sort of have this problem already, and it's really going to be substantial in ten years or so. That's when the systems in the north that are also start cracking already will burst as well. Godspeed Berts.

>Finally, the sporting director was asked to compare the Unibet Rose Rockets, who missed out on the coveted wildcard after being eliminated from Caja Rural. "They've built a very interesting team for 2026, but we were better than them last year. So I think we deserved an invitation," he belowed.

Most of these are earned not randomly chosen. There is a straight forward and known qualifying system. Caja Rural can still be a wildcard but they have earned that wildcard.
