How would you fix the Olympics?
Allow open dopingBring back Russia
>>153262140Force every competing country to field athletes in every event. We used to watch the special Olympics on /sp/. Swimming was the best one. You’d have four lanes and one lane would be doggy paddling in circles, another dragging along those floating divider things, a third that understood the event but was actually handicapped, then you’d have a borderline tard that would just be crushing the front crawl putting up a legitimate time. That shit was extremely entertaining. They’re all about finishing the event too so you’d have the parents, wranglers, and coaches trying to coax tards to the other end of the pool and stuff.
Summer Olympics in WinterWinter Olympics in SummerEquipment stays the same
just end it frankly
I would get rid of the gazillion minor events for one sport like swimming. Turn it into a minor tournament for each swim style and maybe people would actually care about it
>>153262140limit it to 10 non meme sports like in ancient times
Sex
Bring back nudity.
If you are engaging in a war during the olympics you are automatically forbidden from participating
>>153262571What about peace keeping missions or liberations?
>>153262604Or special military operations?
Remove all team sports for a start, if they have their own World Cup/Championships then they don't belong at the Olympics. Create the Aqua Olympics and remove all pool events from the main Olympics. Every event has one average person compete, to show by comparison just how fast/strong even mid-tier professional athletes are. Bring back the 50k deathmarch.
For each event, pick a random male and female from each country, between 18 and 40 years old, to represent their country in that event. Also kill the meme subcategories for athleticism, swimming and weightlifting I guess.
It doesn't need a huge amount of fixing, the summer Olympics is still relatively popular and was fine last time in Paris. Even Rio 2016 which was a shitshow was popularWould cut the amount of events and some subdisciplines to make it easier for smaller cities to host. Also get rid of things like football, rugby, golf etc which are clearly a sideshow for the sport. And countries should put it on free to air TVWinter Olympics is probably fundamentally fucked, only a small amount of countries are interested and their populations are declining relative to the shitskins>>153262219Yanks wouldn't back the Olympics if they couldn't statpad in the pool
>more swimming >more street dancing>more gay opening ceremony
>Olympics starts with a massive Decathlon >One athlete from each country>Overall medals given out after conclusionSTAGE 2>Top 32 ranked in each of the 10 disciplines qualify for the QFs of the individual events>some athletes may qualify for multiple events, the ultimate hardcore challenge>a total of 33 medals to win
>>153262140Remove all current IOC officials.
>>153262140Make someone with downs syndrom do each event before everyone else
>>153262140Athens as permanent hostLineup with restrained number of countries (pic related)Limited ammount of sports
>>153262169>Nothing changes.
Bring back Polo, it is 1000 times more a sport than equestrian ""sports"" they have now. >we all know the Anglos would seethe and mald over us winning every single edition of "their sport", so they gate keep it for over 100 years now
>>153262140Wipe the slate clean in the IOC, pull it out by the roots. It is a super corrupt and greedy organization, and it shows in the hosting choices and the aspects the IOC values the mostThe games themselves are mostly fine. You can add a few events and scratch a few other ones. I'd get rid of most of the new "urban" stuff, but I'd probably add a few events overallI'd also push for a globally equal standard regarding doping that is then strictly enforced, as hard as it would be. Even if it means lowering the standard in some (developed) countries. And no political bans at all
>>153262140Ban USA, China, and Russia. Stop the political superpower dickwaving. Make it comfy.
>>153264448I like this decently but I like tiny nations showing up
