Mark Messier was right to take the letter C away from Trevor Linden and have him removed from the Vancouver Canucks. Todd Bertuzzi was just a way better replacement for Linden.

another similar situation nobody talks about years later, Linden got removed from the Washington Capitals by a paranoid schemer like Adam Oates in 2001.

yes, Oates was known to be a butthurt bitch whenever his spot as "the man" was being highly contested by the likes of Jaromir Jagr.
but much like Messier did to him in Vancouver, Oates was right to have Linden removed from Washington in 2001.
