Trevor Linden peaked in 1994 and he was never gonna get any better, because Pavel Bure was the actual star of the Canucks' 1994 playoff team.
Messier was right to try to rebuild the Vancouver Canucks into a winner, something Linden couldn't even be bothered to try doing.
