I spent three days in LA. When I was 15 my family moved from China to the USA. My parents and siblings went before me by a couple weeks and I stayed with my Uncle to finish the semester. I flew to Charlotte via LA and begged my parents to let me spend some time in LA with my cousin since California is California. 3 days and it changed me. The sunsets are as glorious as people say. There's like this purple/pink tint in the sky I've never seen elsewhere. And my cousin and his friends were alt and cool and I felt so cool with them being 15 exploring the city smoking weed for the first time while hiking to the Hollywood sign. I'm 24 now and I want to return but I also kind of like the idea of having those memories of LA not being overwritten.
