i can feel it in my bones that birbs will win it.
>>
>>153621394
It fell through because new ownership didn't want to put teams in college handegg stadiums. Repole, correctly, figured out that using the smaller soccer fields makes the audience look much bigger and the games have more energy. It's not like the Defenders are pulling THAT many people very week, but because it's a more compact stadium and they do decent numbers their games always feel more alive.

This is going to be the first time I go to a sporting event in so long I can't remember the last time I went. For people who go to games often (not even UFL in specific, but football, baseball, etc) do you typically go by yourself or do you bring someone with you?

I use it as an excuse to hang out with a friend I bring along, but battlecocks wise at least nobody gives a shit, just celebrate and everyone will welcome you in. I assume it's the same everywhere else.

NIL players are fumbling their chances at building brands. They are proverbially asleep at the wheel believing that they have fans and not just fans of the their college team supporting them.
>>
They are still gonna play the LFA season right?
>>
>>153629578
I see. So the Louisville Kings will get destroyed this season and will no longer exist next season if one exists.
>DC DEFENDERS
They've built a brand and are at least known for the beer snake and lemons. They have a dedicated fan base and people will come out just for that. Louisville Kings doesn't have that luxury. Not saying they need to act like this is NFL, but if they don't even show up for the UFL practices likely because they, themselves, don't see the UFL as anything worth taking seriously, this team is going to fail before it's out of the gate. The Storm is going to be the one to watch so far, but MY RENEGADES are going on a run this year!

They don't seem to mass import black american players like the GFL does.
>>
>In the GFL/AFVD, players from outside Europe are considered A-imports. Those who do not come from the USA, Canada, Mexico, or Japan, i.e., countries where football is offered at college level, can be considered Europeans upon request if they have not played in one of these countries themselves while in education. This allows citizens of other countries who, for example, grew up in Germany and are new to football to be considered nationals, even in the GFL. Exceptions may also be made after many years of residence in Germany.

>This means that the GFL allows more A-imports than the AFLE or EFA. However, this generosity ends on game day at the latest. The decisive rule: a maximum of two A players on the field at the same time. This means that a team can sign six international players, but must rotate them strategically. Permanent “import offenses” are thus ruled out. This rule protects the development of European players and ensures sporting balance.

>A key difference to other leagues: all Europeans are considered homegrown. A player with a US passport and a European passport (known as a dual passport) does not count as an A import. Even with a Spanish, French, or Polish passport, you remain homegrown in the GFL. As soon as a player has European citizenship, they are no longer subject to the A rule.

>GFL at a glance

>- 6 A imports on the roster
>- Rest homegrown
>>
>>153644147
>EFLA
>A-Players – The US Training Model
A player is considered an A-player if:
- their first organized tackle football experience took place in the US
- they have played at least two consecutive seasons in the US system

>I-Players – A category of their own
The AFLE also distinguishes a separate I-category for players from:
- Canada
- Mexico
- Japan

>E-Players – International Diversity
E-Players are all players whose first organized football experience took place outside of:
- The United States
- Canada
- Mexico
- Japan
- Their respective homegrown region

>AFLE in brief
- 4 A spots (maximum of 2 on the field at the same time)
- 1 I spot
- 9 E spots

>A clearly regulated and differentiated system where the focus is not on nationality but on the place of training.

>EFA
>A-Players
Players from the following countries are classified as A players:
- USA
- Canada
- Mexico
- Japan

>E-players
There is also a difference when it comes to so-called E-spots. The EFA only allows six E-players per team. The definition of an E-spot is the same as in the AFLE – only the quota is smaller.

>EFA at a glance
- 4 A-spots (maximum of 2 on the field at the same time)
- 6 E-spots
- No I-spots

>The EFA is also strictly regulated with regard to import spots, but less complex than the AFLE.

Basic ally only for FG's though. If you ever cross the 50 you can't punt. Takes a giant legitimate layer of strategy and skill out of the game. There's no reason to even have a punter on your team damn near.

Again though, you can't punt if you've ever gone past the 50 on that drive. A false start penalty would not let you punt, it would make your 4th down attempt even harder. The biggest "What the fuck" is the change on XPs. You already had too many coaches being cowards and taking the 1 point attempt, now they're almost literally never going to try for 2 or 3. There's no reason to.
