At the same time many important football people in italy support inter (head of the italian football federation or the head of italian referees).Several big politicians also support the club (ie. The president of the italian senate).Despite all the shady stuff mentioned at the start inter got no real punishment. The reason is any sort of punishment would potentially destroy the club. Gravina (head of the federation) was able to convince the other people of the league that punishing inter, with lets say a forced relegation (what they did to juve for the same crimes), would hurt the "serie a brand". Thus they have to solve the inter problem on a different way.This way is refballing them to (financial) success. By doing so they hope that inter will soon be stable again. However this blatant refballing hurts the league in the end.
