Explaining baseball to a Brazilian friend of the family when we took her to a game was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. Not because of her per se, but dealing with just how alien baseball is compared to all the other sports of trying to score an object into the opposing symmetrical half. We had to explain quite literally everything, nothing came intuitively. Though it was funny when she noted that the team must have been so bad because the players were so old. She had in fact been looking at the coaches wearing the same uniforms as everyone else, once again an alien concept from just about any other sport out there.
I hope Brazil at least manages to defeat Britain.
