honestly, getting traded to a place like the Florida Panthers really helped ease Pavel Bure back to a proper life outside of hockey (when off the ice), both from a contract and lifestyle perspective.

there's a separate tax deferral program that all canadian teams have that's supposed to equalize it, don't think many players take advantage of it
