Was this the lowest moment in olympics history?
you remember her but you don't remember the person that won goldmakes you think
the lowest moment in olympics history was them announcing break dancing would be an event. one of the greatest moments was one of its own practitioners showing off how retarded it is and getting it banned from future olympics.
>>153894901It was arguably the most high-profile embarrassment, but breakdancing was always supposed to just be a one-off exhibition event that would never appear again. The biggest embarrassment was probably Elizabeth Swaney qualifying for the women's halfpipe skiing and literally doing no tricks, which showcased how utterly unserious women's sports are if a woman can qualify by showing up to qualification events and avoid crashing. There was also Saintboy in the "modern" pentathlon, who exposed just how retard that particular event is as well.
>>153894980>Saint BoyA fucking legend, nothing better than seeing shit toff sports getting ruined because the horse goes "nah, can't be fucked" KEK
>>153894901this was based though
>>153894901Nah that would be Jesse Owens owning all the aryan cuckbois and btfoing the nazi party propaganda.

>>153894901Didn't the Olympics remove boxing and wrestling at one point?
>>153894980Don’t ever talk about Saintboy like that again mother fucker.
>>153894958Breakdancing is still a thing? Or is it like when other countries get American pop media 20 years late
>>153895136Then coming back to the US and explaining how he was treated better by people in Nazi Germany than he was back home.
the men's event was pretty kino but it was sort of a wash
>>153895230Breakdancing hasn't been a thing in the US since the 90's. Maybe it is in some other countries. When I heard it was an Olympic event, I thought it was a troll.
Surely the worst point at any Olympics was the terrorist attack at Munich 1972. It totally ruined the vibe, and didn't even remove that many Jews.
>>153894901impossible to watch this shit till the end
>Eric MoussambaniAt least she has cognitive abilities and motor function
>>153895727Eric the Eel was based. He qualified for the Olympics from a country that doesn’t have a single Olympic-sized swimming pool.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourist_athlete>Tourist athlete, also Olympic tourist, is a term for athletes who attend events, particularly the Winter Olympics, without having qualified to be there competitively. >as the 20th century went on, more countries joined the Olympic Movement, each of which could send at least one athlete to take part in an event without being qualified for it by performance or capability.[1] For non-alpine countries, this meant that athletes could be selected to compete at the Winter Olympics as part of national teams who were essentially amateur athletes with minimal or even no record of taking part in competitive events. >Particularly in the 1980s and early 1990s, this created a conflict between more professional athletes from alpine countries who qualified for events competitively, and competitors representing non-alpine countries without having qualified competitively and as such were labelled "tourist athletes".[2]>According to Bengt-Erik Bengtsson, head of the Nordic division of the International Ski Federation, the way in which Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards had distracted away from the achievement of other athletes at the 1988 games had been concerning. "No one cared about 1, 2, 3 ... They wanted Eddie" said Bengtsson.[4] >In the 1992 winter games, an incident in the slalom where one skier passed another in spite of the 30 second gap between starters, was considered the last straw by officials.[5]
The hate she gets is completely unwarranted. It was a fun, memorable routine. Shes also very hot and has a killer body.
>>153895727>In 2006, Moussambani achieved his personal best for the 100 metre of 52.18 at a meet in Germany, more than 60 seconds faster than his 2000 Olympic race and 5.78 seconds behind the current world record of 46.40, set by Pan Zhanle at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.impressive
