If you had the money would you buy a team in these leagues? >NBA >NFL >NHL >MLB >MLS
Pretty sure overall american football has the most expensive/valuable teams, so if I had the money to buy that I'd have more money than if I had the money to buy something elese. So NFL
If I was super rich I would by an F1 teamNot really interested in any of the tyrone/ngubu sports you listed
Buy any of them and you’ve got a money printing machine. It’s a cartel of ~120 exclusive businesses.
>>154015573I wouldn't buy any team; I would listen to what they had to say. And that's what no one did.
>>154015593Do you know what the sport is about? They are profitable but you have to know how to run them too.
They are trophy assets (except for the terrible MLS which no middle/high income American watches) meant for either tax loss harvesting/optimizing or buying at the lows and selling decades later.
>>154015628Don't you hire people for that
Sure depending on the price they are decent investmentsPlus you get to say "we"I would not buy into the MLS though I think they are going belly up within 10 years
>NBAno>NFLehh, price seems far higher>NHLyeah, most teams are doing good financially>MLBseems to be way cheaper to run an MLB team if the fucking marlels are any indication>MLSlol
Whenever anyone spends 10 billion buying a team, it's never their last 10 billion. They've always got many more billions left. So sure; I probably would buy a team if I had that money.
How do you get the money to buy one though?
I hope I get to see the day where we all the billionaires are stabbed or hanged and Peter Thiel gets flayed alive and trown into the ocean.
>>154016116Just work harder bro
>>154015601>ice hokkei>ngubusthe percentage of negroes in hoc is probably lower than hamilton being 1 in 22
>>154015573i'd buy an island instead
>>154015702Would be foolish not to buy an mls team now. Their ceiling is still growing and the clubs are cheap, unlike nba, nhl, nfl, mlb who have a long history and have probably touched the ceiling now. Why else would the nfl try to expand the sport globally?
I'd buy my beloved Tampa Bay Rowdies and get them promoted to MLS
>>154019734The MLS has a promotion/relegation system?
>>154015894A lot of the NFL billionaires owners are billionaires because of their team they bought in the 50s and 60s
>>154015573MLS NHL yesNFL MLB not anymoreNBA dying goyslop league
Why does everyone keep saying that the NBA is dying
>>154015573Nhl is the only one I could stand doing even if I was given one for free. I'd be on the short end of way too many 31-1 votes in the other 4
>>154019837that's not true. there are like 3-4 people who inhereted from founders. Then I guess Kraft Spanos and Jones have been around for a while but certainly not the 50s or 60s
>>154015573>NBAno, fuck basketball>NFLFUCK NO>NHLYes because hockey is my fav>MLBYes, it'd be comfy>MLSNah, shit league
>>154024119Favorite NHL and MLB teams?
>>15401562332+30+30+32+30= 154
>>154023495Because it's unwatchable trash. The players don't give a fuck, the owners don't want to win and the commissioner told you to watch the highlights and not the games
>>154024407Is this a problem that only affect the NBA or it's something that will end up affecting basketball as a whole?
>>154024435NCAA basketball's popularity is based on every school in the country having a court and every college in the country having a team. If the NBA shriveled and died you might see some players take a baseball/football/soccer scholarship instead but the actual fandom/viewership is relatively insulated against that threat.
>>154024776NCAA's popularity is more nowadays because old racist whites feel less threatened watching NCAAB versus NBA. College is going to be a thing of the past here in a couple of decades when nobody can get a job
yeah. especially since my hawkies are for sale. and the NBA is expanding into Seattle. so I could buy two teams in my favorite city
>>154027011>hawkiesWhich league?
>>154019778It's a serious professional football league, so yes.
>>154037492If it's Seattle, then he also definitely means the Seahawks, who are an NFL team. They're probably best known for that reaction of that player after they lost the Super Bowl in the closing seconds that time.
>>154016174What about that throat cutter guy? That's one too many. F1 is a better bet and a superior networking tool.
>>154037492>>154039306Amazingly, I didn't have it saved on my computer, but I do now.
>>154023495You tried to watch the shit lately? Horrible game to watch.
