He was losing until he got this punch. It's like you have to gamble on that. The problem is as others have pointed out, there's not really any fighters in the weight class that can pull off that trick reliably. To get inside, to stay inside without getting hurt, and to also time the shot. I don't think this punch is the only way, but everyone knows that when Fundora brawls, he leaves himself open. Just because Tzsyu and Thurmann dropped the ball doesn't mean he's impossible to stop. It's just gonna take the right fighter, and they're going to need the courage, grit, and skill to pull it off right.

His uppercut is the same way, but I'd love to see him to a Hearns uppercut where he'd turn his hip into it more. I'd say Vergil despite all his flaws probably is the best style to beat Fundora. Jaron Ennis likes to fight on the outside, and while he can fight on the inside, I think that fight would make him very uncomfortable to the point where I don't ever expect im to get in the ring with Fundora. Xayas I'm not really sold on, he doesn't seem like he has the experience or know-how to pull it off. Too young. Fundora's been in wars, multiple. Xayas, not so much.
