It's a surface only rec players and Europeans can really play on tbqh. American big hitting, aggressive tennis is so ass for it, even on the much grittier Har-Tru. You'd have to have an American junior player grow up learning how to hit on both clay and hard. That's not very common here. Also, isn't this the first year Houston used European red clay? I recall it being green in past years.
