The difference is that holding and the like are a judgement call. False starts are black and white, you either went early or you didn't, and they can't tell because of how that specific play is, even when they're making a concerted effort to watch for it. Also, like I said, because it's just a massive pile of players, you can't tell where the ball actually is when the play is dead. It's happened to multiple teams where they either failed a tush push and got given the 1st or they got it and it was ruled short. I wasn't using the entertainment value as an argument for or against banning it, I was just saying that I don't care that it's gone because it's boring.
