As a beginner to soccer/football, I was looking for a channel on youtube or resource that breaks down full college soccer matches (I'm sure there would be legal issues for full Premier League matches, but if that exists let me know) tactically. Like gets into it from a coaching perspective/how the match evolves and tactics change, etc. Does anyone know a resource like that? Thanks.

I’m sick of lists of content. Watching lists, top tens, flowcharts, curriculums, canons, counter-canons, the lot. Pathetic activity. Someone could post the links to every single sports video I really love, ranked impeccably, with no omissions and no interpolations, and I’d spit cold venom in their face. I think the only way to watch sports with dignity is to watch organically, genealogically, backwards, by touch. Not running down a list, but excavating, following the seams where kinos bleed into each other.

The German is right. No words to take or add.

We don't have "college soccer" , that's an American thing, noone on the planet has "college sports"
Pick a league or a team and watch them and you'll figure it out

This guy has some of the info you're searching for I guess

IT'S A HUGE DAY FOR COLLEGE SOCCER.

one thing I noticed is that for some reason americans that are into football are absolutely OBSESSED with formations, I guess it comes from other sports they have, probably from american football or something, but it is quite weird

Bumping because I would also like to know if such resources exist
>>
I think it doesn't exist, you could watch teams that innovated or improved the game like Arsenal under Wenger

I don't think a there's a resource that will do a full match breakdowns. Tifo Football and The Purist Football make videos on tactics. Luca Sutherland has videos that teach you how to analyse a match including how it progresses. Then you can watch tactical cams and practice analysing yourself
