Year of the samuraiNext events:ERC Rally Sierra Morena 17-19. AprilARA Olympus Rally 2026 17-19. April
btw pajari fell down the podium at the ceremonial finishI hate that we only get the toned down wrc podium
Hyundai say they're going to keep developing and bringing upgrades till the end of the season but they still haven't committed to the 2027 regs.
>>154210894Takamoto-sama... I kneel....
>>154211669yeah but from 2027 even if they are staying they will use their existing Rally2 car, possibly until hybrid is allowed again
>>154212051if I'm Lancia and I'm eyeing a push into WRC1 next season with that Ypsilon I definitely try to go and pluck Thierry from Hyundai. The talent is there, it's just the manufacturer is such a shitshow. I think with Neuville, Rossel, and Gryazin they could be competitive for a manufacturers title under the new specs.
>>154210894TAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABANZAII
>>154211279>the laugh>the point Lmao he’s gonna win the next event too
evans year
>that one time a kit car won overall and FIA had to change the rulesmaybe we'll see more upsets like that with the new regs.
FIA highlights pointed out that the last man before Taka to win their first 2 rallies back to back was Panizzi in 2000 (Corsica & Sanremo).
>>154215341And another stat:Paddon's co-driver John Kennard, 67 ,is the oldest one to make it to podium in WRC, with his first WRC podium being in 1988 at Rally New Zealand with Audi Coupé Quattro.
>>154212974there is literal(l)y no reason to build a rally1 lancia yet, as for a few years Rally1 and Rally2 will be ballasted to the same level of performance
>>154215405sick
>>154215405legend
>>154212974>if I'm Lancia and I'm eyeing a push into WRC1It's already shocking Stellantis are putting any money into rallying at all, I can't see them doubling their efforts. The have borderline zero investments in their Lancia brand road cars, and the amount they're selling is laughable as a result of that.
>>154215721>It's already shocking Stellantis are putting any money into rallying at all, why? citroen is here since 2002The surprising thing is that they are actually investing in rallying with 3 brands, Lancia, Peugeot and OpelThey are still doing that german electric rally cup with the electric corsa and they are producing a Rally4 Opel and Peugeot still
>>154215721But I agree on the second half of your post
>>154215803>why? citroen is here since 2002Yeah, I meant for promoting the Lancia brand specifically.
>>154215405
a ittle sad for Thierry
rip craig breen
>>154221144
i guess there is zero chance we are given a stream for olympus rally
bump
>>154217425at least Hyundai looked competitive to be in a chance for the win.

>>154225819That's great. ERC and ARA at the same time... lord please, I'm not 25 anymore, I can't be awake for 48 hours straight>>154225933>Che REBELSPIRITWhat the fuck is that ad lmao>>154225943Kino
>>154225819wow, cool
