The Big 6
Which team has the most likeable fanbase?
>tottensham hotspudsdoes he know?
Never forget. Five years ago this month.>>154216231None of them.
will be dead after this season."the big five"? irrelevant terminology, because it was six english clubs who tried to join florentino's ESL.
>>154216231I used to think Liverpool, but their recent successes have gone to their head a little bit.Arsenal fans are insufferable, because they're the 3rd biggest club in England historically and yet they've done nothing in Europe.Spurs' fans likewise, but for the opposite reason (they've won several European trophies but never the biggest one, yet have been champions of England just twice).Man United have a core of respectable local supporters, but too many fans globally to be able to sift through the annoying Indians and Africans to find one worth having a conversation with.Man City have started to become like that too, but both clubs have good away support that is mostly from the local area and they're a good laugh when they come to town.Chelsea still have more of a local feel, even though they were the original Man City
>>154216204Take a guess how many of these teams won the premier league in the last 10 years
aston villa replaces tottenham, de zerbi ain't doing nothing to save it
>>154216291Nope. Leicester won the PL, the media still treated them as an also-ran.
there's only a big 5; the two scouse teams, the two north london teams and utd.every other team moves in and out of relevance based on how good their present team is. those 5 don't. they will always be relevant.
>>154216204We need to roll it back to the big four once again.
>replaces spurs
>>154216204The Big 12 (one of)
>>154216204How big are we talking about
>>154216204Get Arsenal and Tottenham out of there
>>154216204>fuck the big 6 its just big me
>>154216267THREE
Totteringham Shartspuds will be in League One soon
>>154216204>manure>liverkek (minus klopp-era)>arselel>post-abramovich era chelshit>spurs>that one arab money song in GTA IVGreatest league in the world. Remind me again of how many UCLs, or shit, even UELs these big 6 have in the last couple of decades?
>JFs getting uppity because they only have a big ein, big un, or big dos
>>154216204>pecho friospuds
>>154216204soon to be the big 5
>>1542173075 UCL, so 25% of them of the past two decades, and that is attributable to 4 different teams. Then an additional 9 runner-ups. So 35% of finals participants, and all six of the clubs in OP. Perhaps that doesn't rise to the level of the RM barca combination, and perhaps not to the level that some englatards have bragged. But it's also not really a record that should be mocked imo. It almost certainly suggests a depth that no other league can match and a top end that only one other league can surpass.
>>154216438>two scouse teams>relevant
>>154217237*
>>154216231man utd lol. crazy how it ended up like that.
>>154216252>Liverpoollolno, the bindippers have always been the worst fanbase
>>154217437We have parity here
>>154216204ah yes... 2009... those were the days.
>>154216438i seriously doubt anyone below the age of 55 supports Everton in England
>>154216204I wonder how they'd try to meme such a construct here. I mean, it's obviously mostly The Big One, Bayern. But Dortmund and Hamburg have CL titles ... are these the big three?Historically, I think you can cover basically all of German football history, titles, and fan presence with Bayern, Hamburg, Dortmund, Schalke, Frankfurt, Köln, Stuttgart, Bremen, Gladbach, and Nürnberg (only for the sake of the old pre-Bundesliga era). That would be the Big 10But then again, Big Six is a marketing term with little to no substance. So it's probably better to not waste thoughts on it
>>154217307Absolutely MAULDING
>>154220634The lad across the pond did a better job than whatever it is you are doing. Keep at it la'
>>154216688which one is the biggest one?
>>154216204realistically it's a big 1 right now (city)united and liverpool maybe on the cusp of being able to make it a big 3, we'll seethe others are irrelevant
>>154224547Only four can make an argument>Palmeiras has won the most titles, but no mundial>São Paulo is the youngest and has won most of the most important titles multiple times, including 3 mundiais in dominant fashion (>inb4 we dont care cope)>Flamerda is up there in both regards and recently, with Palmeiras, has been one of the most successful. Also has the biggest fanbase>Santos because Pelé and ancient titlesI'd say Palmeiras, but other will cope
>>154216204I hope the higher ups realise just how far back relegation is going to set the club. Not just in terms of fianances but public perception. The "big 6" marketing is forever gone and that's going to impact how attractive the club is is players and potential investors forever. The only way to hurt these idiots is in their wallets and it's why I don't even feel bad seeing my team go down. A decade of the most retarded squad building and financing has put this club exactly where it is. Nickle and diming, cosplaying as >le data driven club of the future while everyone around us actually builds and progresses.
>>154224674Rebaixament doesn't matter if you won the most titles. It's like getting pegged twice but having fucked the most bitches, you can't really talk shit about it. >MundialFor most of its story, it didn't matter, was unorganized or wasn't taken seriously by both parties. It shouldn't be the main title. Libertadores and domestic titles are far more important, and even Libertadores wasn't taken seriously until fairly recently
>>154216231The likes of Brentford and Bournemouth have the best fan bases because they know they are tinpot and irrelevant and so they don’t have an ego about the club they support
Over here there's a tradional big 3, always been (within living memory). 3 others were added on in the last few decades. Maybe a big 7 now with the resurgence of an ancient club that had great success early on but then were in the wilderness for the better part of a century. No matter how dire the situation gets at the tradional big 3 they'll always be viewed in a class of their own.
