I give them some credit for trying to innovate and they were relativity successful at tapping markets outside the US, but ultimately it wasn't meant to compete long term. the point was to put enough pressure on the pga tour to push a merger as a way for the saudis to buy their way into the profitable tour. but it looks like they got tired of throwing money at it before the pga tour got tired of playing without bryson and rahm.
