Could be smarter, but gives a lot on the pitch and him being competitive and standing up for his team and teammates, even when they are wrong, is a good thing. His problem is that he doesn't have a clear position. May be more complete than most midfielders, but means little when he can't edge specialists. He can only really shine in a diamond.
