I don't root for my team in the first place I'm pessimistic and derogatory towards them. If I'm watching neutral teams it's not a fucking questionnaire I just watch and if my feelings are inspired I root.

Original hometown teams:Bills/SabresSecondary hometown teamsSeahawks/KrakenIf none of those teams make playoffs in their respective leagues, I don't watch the playoffs until the Final round (Superb Owl/Stan Lee Cup), because that's always interesting and gives me a reason to either hate-watch a rival team that made it to the Final round or watch a team that I took interest in at some point during the season (and root for them if the opposing team happens to be a rival team of >my team). But yeah, outside of the Owl/Cup, I don't watch unless my team(s) make it.
