It is not.>crickett20 is arguably the most popular form of the game so I considered including the t20 world cup, but I've been told that t20 is gay. Also the same 6 teams have won both world cups, which is cool I guess. There is also the world test championship, which would add New Zealand and South Africa to the cricket world champions, but it's not a real world cup.>baseballThere have only been 6 editions of the WBC, I considered including baseball at the olympics (also just 6 editions), which would add Cuba and South Korea as world champions. Especially since many of the basketball and hockey olympic editions were similarly played by "not the best players in the world". But if I made an exception here it could be a slippery slope to adding gay tournaments like t20 cricket or something, so I decided not to.>hockeyThere's a wikipedia page for "competitions featuring NHL players". This list has just 5 different champions, would remove Great Britain and Finland from the champions list.*England's win was rigged**England's win was rigged***Great Britain's win was with a team of Canadians

>>154315750>>154315768sportlets won't like this maphere's olympic medals btw
>>154315750football and perhaps apehoop are the only global sports in there, rugby if we want to be generous
>>154315893the olympics are categorically more global than anything else
>>154315893>basketball lelrandom country produces a 7 foot tall freak = ITSA BBALL NATION NAW
>>154315918soccer is more global than all olympics sports except maybe track.
>>154315980you have to go back
>>154315893Basketball is a pretty popular secondary sport all around the world. Cricket and baseball aren't as widespread but they are extremely popular in a few places. Rugby and hockey are a bit behind these two I think. Obviously soccer is on its own level but I think these 5 are clearly the next level of team sports. then there's a big jump to irrelevant stuff like handball or volleyball.
poor people aren't human though
>>154315992It's true though. No one gives a fuck about 90% of olympic sports
>>154316023doesnt matter, its about the olympics overallyou're from a third world country bad at it so you dont like the olympics, i get itbut the olympics are the canonical battleground of international sport between nation states, which is why historically all real powers (USA, USSR) have cared about it above all else
>>154316038And now no one gives af outside of like 5 events. Soccer is objectively more global, which is what this was about. I am just speaking facts, you are getting worked up over nothing
>>154316060third worldists love to point to soccer because they get raped incredibly hard in the olympicssoccer is a poorfag meme and incredibly corrupt and a joke full of diving and time wasting, it's an awful sport and it's only "le global sport" because poors can play it and england spread it around the world
dont tell me thirdies dont care about the olympcis either, they'd KILL for any success in it, that's why brazil hosted it in 2016its their holy grail of sports validation, in the end soccer has always been a cope and the best they can get
>>154316076>third worldistsI am the opposite of that. I just like not being wrong, and it's a fact that soccer is more global than any other sport with the possible exception of track. It is literally just a fact, why are you seething
>>154316111because i assumed you were a latinxyes soccer has the most # of people, but it's largely poor people who again aren't really humans

Of course the subhuman mutt does not say that >we won basketball worldcup. So his deranged bullshit doesnt fall apart
>>154315893cricket is more globally important than basket
>>154316000Cricket is the only major sport which has truly elite nations on every continent, and also the most nuclear powers
>>154316766Cricket is played in like ten countries, and half of them are absolute shitholes not known for sporting prowess. It’s the most irrelevant sport imaginable. India? Sri Lanka? Pakistan? Bangladesh? Zimbabwe? Come on
