The premier league is the best league in europe and also the most competititve among the biggest ones. The only argument to favor other league is following your local league or a deeo personal connection with some country. La liga has the appeal of real madrid x barcelona, but it is just a game.

The best clubs are the clubs you can find a bar/pub/restaurant near you that has supporters of it.That's why Big EPL Clubs and a speckled few Italian, German and Spanish clubs get more international support.
