Here's your game day atmosphere bro
>The $2.1 billion cost of the new stadium will come from:>$840 million from the team>$500 million from the state of Tennessee>$760 million from revenue bonds issued by the Metro Sports Authority to be repaid via personal-seat license sales and taxes collected at the stadium and additional money from a new 1% hotel/motel tax.Doesn't sound like a bad deal.
>>154435534Looks like Mordor
>>154435534What happens to the old stadium?
>>154435753i was thinking of isengard
>>154435534I've seen way worse
>>154435534Where is the bakery?
>>154435707Did they never teach you opportunity cost in school?
>>154435534This horrible sprawl ...But the stadium itself looks interesting, square shape and all. And depending on what they do with the area of the old stadium, the surroundings may become at least somewhat nice as well
>>154435707>$500 million from the state of Tennessee>$700 million + that the city is paying will be raised in the form of bonds, which will be paying interest to the buyersThe largest allocation of Stadium Subsidy funds to a sports venue in U.S. history doesn't sound like a bad deal? Lmao
>>154435707>500 million from the state of TennesseeThat's basically 80 dollars from everyone in Tennessee for what? Comfier seats and better acoustics?
>>154436503To increase the owners net worth
>>154436304Like I don't mind it but do they really build stadiums in cities the same we treat industrial parks or shopping malls? Parking + the stadium and then shops all around it in the edge of town?I'd say give it a shot!!
>>154435534Downtown Nashville is literally right on the other side of the river
>>154436614Yuck
>>154436410>>154436503>>154436368>poor states
>>154436683Yeah the urban aesthetics are shit but that’s not what the thread was about
>>154435534Old one looks terrible
>>154436304Alright /sp/, which is better? That picture or this? (2)
>>154436304>>154437047Or this? (3) Are you team 1,2, or 3?
>>154435534theyre literally building an entire residential village in the surrounding areas plus where the old stadium was PLUS, if you werent a retard, you would know there are multiple pedestrian bridges straight from broadway to the stadium across the riverin summary, you are a retard
>>154437055That'll never happen so not that
>>154436737Huh?
>>154435534I shant be going
>>154435534Trashville
>>154436683>80% parking lotAbsolutely surprised burgerfats even tolerate the state of their car-dependent cities considering majority of them have CHF can hardly walk three feet without experiencing pulmonary edema
>>154439138Nashville is funner than any gay euro cities
>>154436357In a Sheetz gas station three miles down the road
>Its another "Euro's scared and confused about the idea of having space" thread
>>154436401>This horrible sprawl ...It's just an industrial area that's gradually getting redeveloped >>154442678They literally cannot even imagine having the space we have, so it becomes sour grapes to them. But they'll never stop thinking about and obsessing over the US
>>154439445>
>>154443697>>15444267895% of the comments are Americans dunking on this city, but you fucking snowflakes have to whine about muh yuropeeons because that’s all you faggots ever think about. And ironically, you have to pretend it is the other way round because anything else is beyond your feeble comprehension. Pathetic
>>154443697Its incredible. Why do americans have so much space? And why is it so incredibly hot there??
>>154443919>Accusation is a confession
>>154436599>do they really build stadiums in cities the same we treat industrial parks or shopping mallsyes, at least that's how it was always done up until 5-10 years agostadiums are high-profile targets for NIMBYs and richfags here
>>154439138Get new material, hack
>>154443919>one of several people making fun of Americans in a thread about an American city with and American OP>erm Amerifats always think about Europeans and you pretend it's actually the other way around This might've backfired on you, freund

>>154445276>Best Real Estate in the world>Dallas Suburbs lmao LOW TAXES!!! like bitch it's 100 degrees in May and you have to drive everywhere
>>154445526>>154445276My friend in San Antonio pays more for his HOA than my state taxes in Pennsylvania. They're getting wild these days. I don't know anyone up here who has an HOA unless they have a condo or something. He's not in a gated community or anything
We like to meme but this is one of the places they can actually walk to
>>154445965A parking lot?
god I love being European
>>154445646The HOAs exist where they state exists in places with more social services. That being said, in NYC, for instance there are a lot of BIDs that work in the same way of a bourgie HOA in that they hire people to clean up the area, garden up the sidewalks, put trash cans on the corners so nobody litters and so on, and sandwiches at my bodega cost a couple bucks more than sandwiches at a bodega a half-mile away across from the projects. My liquor store owned by a couple from California's wine region sells fancier whiskies and wines for a bit more than the ones a little down the street where an asian family gives you the booze behind bulletproof glass. So ultimately it's not much different and no matter how it works, they're gonna get your money cause they know you have more of it if you live in a nicer part of town
>>154446087Sounds like Texas and getting ripped off then
>>154446056That stadium is essentially the same but with no car parks lad.Post an inner-city one next time.

>>154446244yes yes, very nice
>>154446216Not bad but not good either. A stadium that is easily forgotten is preferable to a lingering eyesore
>Pov game day atmosphere in the south
>>154446501>"stroad" in the file nameUrbanists are scum
>>154446528I can’t hear you over your crackles
>>154435707>most profitable league in the world gets HALF A BILLION DOLLARS from the state to build a new stadium, which will create revenue for the billionaire owners but not for the city or state in the slightest>not a bad deal

>>154447048One of the team should play by the Ben Franklin bridge
