You now remember Aliadiere.
>>
>>154446553
what does he do?
>>
Small tweaks in the team.

Declan Rice played DM against Atletico. Him and Zubimendi switched places. Which lead to Zubimendi, Ødegaard and Gyökeres combining through the middle (where we usually never attack) for the penalty.

When Eze started on the left in earlier games he drifted inwards and played as an extra central midfielder instead of hogging the line. Something Trossard did as well when he came on.
>>
>It is understood that Gabriel Jesus will LEAVE Arsenal this summer.
>>
>>154446553
He scores pens.
Which is enough for me to keep him starting over shitverz.
You can keep talking about how many of his goals are pens etc, but when we get that crucial pen to kill a game or gain an advantage, you want martin odegaard to take it? Or maybe the ""starboy""?
Having a guy that scores pens and also the odd goal here and there is not the worst thing, specially in this shitshow of a starting 11 we have.

It will probably be funnier if Arsenal win both. The Arteta outers vs the Arteta INs and then the ABAs going with their mental gymnastics on why Arteta didn't deserve it will be kino. explain? would youve put him on yesterday for example? starter or from the bench? would you give him minutes against fulham? i love ethan as much as the next guy but the move wasnt as "retarded" as you make it..
>>
>>154449758
Another right wing and attacking mid option when both Saka and Ode were missing time would have been invaluable.
>>
>>154446553
He was subbed to save energy to farm GD against fulham. Yes I know artetard will still start havertz anyway but I can have 1% of hope that's the case he was subbed so prematurely
>>
>>154449901
Havertz wasn't even on the bench, I doubt he starts even if fit.
>>
>>154449829
sure but what happens to merino, eze, madukeke, kai, even dowman? jesus can play on the right, trossard can be an option across the front line. i think the idea was for ethan to play consitently under a 'tactical' manager like de zerbi vs getting 5-10 mins every week or so. and it started well but de zerbi quit and voila now their new manager is publicly thworing ethan uder the bus..
>>
>>154448651
Declan Rice was right, ref was scared for his livelihood if he became the enemy of 1000s of rowdy degenerates throwing toilet paper on the pitch
>>
>>154449967
There was still room for him, especially with Madueke and Trossard on such poor form. Bringing up Jesus is absolutely laughable as he should never see the pitch in an Arsenal shirt again. Depth has killed them in some way pretty much every year recently and here is a player who was actually incredibly productive down the stretch in one of those years loaned away.
>>
>>154450012
Simeone could have been sent off during the VAR review. A player certainly would have for the same action.
>>
>>154450018
>There was still room for him, especially with Madueke and Trossard on such poor form
not sure about that - even now with a couple injuries mikel still might have to exclude a couple of senior players from the squad.

>Bringing up Jesus is absolutely laughable as he should never see the pitch in an Arsenal shirt again
i have mixed feelings about that one so i guess you have a point but unless you absolutely insist on having a conversation - lets agree to disagree

>Depth has killed them in some way pretty much every year recently
lack of depth is whats killed our dreams for the past 4 years. unless youre saying the same thing? like i dont know if you mean depth has killed the progress of players (a la MLS) or lack of depth has killed our chances

>incredibly productive
not in particular. like i get what youre getting at but a goal against bolton in the milk cup and then doing jack in the prem v burnley... i wouldnt call that incedibly productive.

then you have to consider the player and what he wants and his family/agent whispering in his ear and whats best for him long term etc. and the lad is what 17 now?
>>
>>154450084
I meant that lack of depth is what killed them these 4 years. Another option is never a bad thing and if Jesus or 23 games without a goal Trossard don't make the bench then so be it. Arteta is already content to let Norgaard miss games entirely while running Rice and Zubimendi into early graves.

Nwaneri's form at the tail end of last year deserved more of a look this year even if that was the worst of these title challenges. Hindsight is 20/20 so we can just pick and choose which mistake matters in regards to any particular thing. I've liked Badueke's play at times despite his lack of end product but buying him was the thing that killed Nwaneri's chances.
>>
>kneeinjurydegaard
>>
>>154450146
All these injuries have made him a coward. Be lucky to recoup the cost from a continental team at this point.
>>
What is to be done about saka? Speaking from le corporate football decision. Off course I'd have him leave via firing squad.

He's completely fallen off and is constantly getting injured. Considing the wage he takes up he is possibly the worst player of the season. Maybe jesus rivals him in that regard. Of course, according to the corporate football rules, he needs to be given another season which is retarded yes but apparently that's just how things are done. If it's a repeat next season, which is such a risk in the first place, surely he leaves. Zero justification to keep him around.
>>
its Dowman a mata of time
>>
It's time. Fulham are not ready.
>>
>>154450376
thats depressing/grim or whatever youd like to call it. wait until the season ends please yeah
>>
>>154450442
Another season of failed dribbles, instant possession loss and long injuries. But don't worry! He'll randomly show up with a goal and everyone will pretend it's business as usual. Get him gone right now. Star players have off seasons but this is something I've never seen before. Such poor performances means he's unreliable. You can depend nor justify 300k a week on someone who's a roulette wheel.
>>
The only way we beat Fulham is by shithousery but thankfully that's the only way we can play
>>
My thanks for the memories list:

Jesus
Saka
Shartenelli
Odeshaart
Havertz
Madueke
Kepa
White
Drossard

All unreliable, regardless of artetas nonsense. If the system is shit you should still be able to play simple passes, complete dribbles, be resistant to press. These are all fundamentals you'd need in any system. I do not care about sporadic match winning performance. A lesser player who is more consistent will yield better long term results. A player like that Georgian winger would be great. But he's not necessary. Consistent performers who do the basics is all you'd need. I'd take the likes of Theo Walcott and Sant Cazorla every single time. Arshavin as a key player on 300k a week even.
>>
>>154450550
Every time they play in style they look good. Really good. Loss to city was part luck, part Havertz being shit. They conceded a single goal against them. Should've gotten at least 3. I'd love to see them play like that against a lesser side. They could get a great result. I remember they smashed Wigan win 30 minutes. Sure it's Wigan but it can be done, no question. So why doesn't arteta try it? They defend counters really well. It's the inviting pressure that seems to be causing the biggest issue. If opponents have no risks by attacking then by God they will. Especially if you're counting around outside your own fucking box.
>>
>>154450609
There'll be zero pressing because of how tired the players will be. It'll be a set piece or penalty 1-0 win while riding some luck and also losing at least 1 player to injury. I've already resigned to the fact the end of the season is going to be the most painful grind in history.
>>
>>154450635
If its because of tiredness then next season will be fun considering the world cup. No rest for rice. By the end of it they'll be forced to field 8 u23 players for until January. Actually looks good for united next season because they've player fuck all games this year. Feeling 5th place finish next year for arsenal.
>>
>>154450657
World cup affects everyone though. At least for the top clubs.

UPDATE: Fulham manager Marco Silva has confirmed key injury setbacks ahead of the clash with Arsenal.

Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi and Kevin are all ruled out for the Emirates trip.

There is a boost, however, with Kenny Tete expected to return to the matchday squad after injury.

The update was reported by The Standard as Fulham aim to dent Arsenal’s title hopes.
>>
>martinelli
He will absolutely do well abroad. Mark my words he will go on to be prolific on the continent.
As said above there are a heap of players who aren’t good enough and should be sold but as a whole the system is dead and everyone looks shit. They all look bang average apart from raya and at this moment hincapie although you could argue even he shackles our left side because he’s not even a lb.
Dead team with a disgusting lying Lego manager with shit tactics.
We need to pamp fulham hard but we know that’s not going to happen is it because we go one nil up and invite pressure for the remainder of the game.

Gnabry. Szeczney. Coquelin. Xhaka. Giroud. Nasri. Clichy.

Martinelli would be added to that list of players who did better away from arsenal, event though they were generally poor or didn't show that potential here. Giroud was painful. Gnabry I don't think anyone really saw potential in so it's whatever. I can see martinelli running rampant despite failing simple passes at arsenal. He's a good play on occasions there's no doubt. But like every other fuck in the team, he can't do it on a weekly basis.

They're fickle. They grind, get success, enjoy success then live off their achievements. They become arrogant and lazy because they're rich and successful. Pogba is a prime example. Contrast between players like milner and these black players is crazy. Of course it's not every single one. But they're luxury players. Good luck fighting relegation with a team of black players. Leicester and spurs are learning that. Imagine Eze in a relegation battle. He laughs off his mistakes all the time. He'd shut down.
