As a football fan I’m so fucking glad that proper wingers are finally back at the top level. A couple seasons ago every big team was shoehorning these inside forward types out wide. Rashford, Salah, Son, Sterling, Sane even Mbappe all fall into that category players who rely on pace and open space and look only strive in counterattacking setups. Give them tight 1v1 situation and half the time they'd either pass it backwards or just try to sprint past their man with low success rate. Now we’re actually seeing real wingers again the kind who play like Ribery and Robben used to. Guys like Kvicha, Doue, Olise, Diaz, Yamal, Doku who can actually cook defenders with skill not just speed and still deliver end product. They are the reason why most people pay to watch football matches
