>>154476501>May 9th DAZN PPV>Fabio Wardley vs. Daniel DuboisFinally so real fucking action
>>154476501I love Naoya Inoue.
buttnoue
>>154476523cant wait for the regional level overhyped UK fighters
>>154476552Ah yes swedecuck, famed for such fighters as *checks notes*Otto Wallin?
>>154476552Young future champions while usyk fights.... a retired kickboxer
5/10 fight with 2 or 3 good rounds
>Inoue has 1-2 fights left Where does the time go
>>154476649In life you generally shouldn’t waste time on endeavors that you have to give up on young. Having said that, Inoue will probably keep fighting until his late 30s unless something goes wrong.
How does Inoue get past this guy at 126?>5 inches taller than Nakatani>7 inches longer reach than Nakatani>actually throws in a phonebooth
>>154476764By not fighting him
>>154476649The last two fights are gonna be interesting to watch. Bam Bam has a legit shot to beat Inoue and maybe another Japanese fighter will get a shot at him. Inoue loves boxing to death age won't hold him back.
>>154476764dempsey roll into uppercut finish, straight out of Ippo
>>154476764A few years ago I would've said foot work.
>>154476764>1.85m >featherweightdamn cant this beanpole fight people his own size
>>154476764How much does he actually weigh when fighting?Certainly at least 10 pounds more.
>>154476764Espinoza is Orthodox so it's immediately less complicated for Inoue to win since there's no lead hand fight to worry about The main worry is Inoue starting to look his age. Might also just be the weight cut getting to him at 122
>>154476530me too but his corporate empire makes him feel like the villain sometimes loljap announcers go nuts when one micron of his gloves contact his opponent. the crowd boos when his opponent lands a hit.
i dont want to believe in naoya getting old :((((hes one of the most precise and surgical guys to watch, most of his fights literally feel like watching a tool assisted speedrun
>>154477080didnt really look like hes getting old yetstill super fast and clinical
>>154476900I think it's more a combination of the size he's put on, and the size of the opponents he's been fighting, in addition to the weight cut. I don't think he's looking noticeably declined otherwise, although one of these rounds I think the 10th I was a bit worried he was because Inoue was appearing the most tired I've ever seen him. I think it's fair to say he's past his prime but not by a huge amount.
>>154476895They weigh that much during weigh in, but basically they starve and dehydrate themselves for that certain date. After that for the fight they come in way heavier. It's basically cheating, the weigh in should be 1 day before the fight.
where can I watch fight replays /box/? I couldn't catch the superfight live
>>154476764Espinoza can just walk Inoue down like prime Margarito>>154477514 fullfightreplays.com
>>154477514watching perth? i won't tell
>33 years oldits over, unironically. not getting better than what we saw in the next fights. nakatani wouldve won if he was more confident
>>154477886Smaller boxers age out quickest. Japanese boxers are known to retire super early, basically if they're 10% off their peak, it's time to hang them up.Inoue has about 2 more years left in him. He likely has 3-5 fights left in him, since he said he wants a long break after this one, fighting 4 times last year + 1.
>>154477886Please stop listening to the Dazn commentators Nakatani was losing the fight for large stretches not because of timidity, but because he couldn't beat Inoue's jab. None of his offense could get started with Inoue constantly stabbing him in the body or getting stiffed in the chin, he was forced to try to sell out on left hook counters and uppercuts when Inoue would level change for the body jabHe only really started having success in rounds 9 and 10 because Inoue's activity waned and Nakatani could start putting in actual output. When Inoue had a second wind in round 11, it was over
>>154478203Alright you can stop soifacing now
>>154478203This. Inoue dominated the fight besides 1 and 1/2 rounds
Junto won that fight, Inoue is a bum with loaded gloves and purposely headbutted Junto so that he could take a rest and blind Junto, he knew he was losing the fight so he decided to go for a headbutt.Inoue looked gassed later in the fight? What do you think caused it? Maybe the chest punches nakatani's team told him to do?I think if Bam decides he wants to fight Inoue, he'll get a tune up first either hernandez or nakatani, inoue might fight hernandez later this year. But if Bam decides not to move up this year, I think Inoue will move on to 126, and fight Leo for a tune up then Carrington, if he wins he'll fight the winner of Brandon vs Espinoza.Overall, if bam decides to move up there will be a fight between inoue, hernandez, nakatani and rodriguez maybe even rematches between these four.if inoue moves up to 126 I just don't see him beating Espinoza. I think he will have a hard time fighting people not afraid of his punches.
>>154478237It wasn’t that impressive. Dominated is a stretch. Boring fight really.
>>154478253True a lot of rounds were close but Inoue won by a large margin. Only had junto wining 2 rounds, 3 at most
Froch is unironically underrated >beat Jermaine Taylor >pascal >dirrel>kessler >groves x2>bute >arthur Abraham
>>154477886If Donaire can do it, why cant Inoue? Donaire was like what 37 when he fought Inoue the first time? Inoue also has speed+power so even if he becomes a tad slower he will be fine. He hardly took big time damage so in the end its up to himself how much longer he wants to fight.
>>154478176I assume by long break he just means he could fight again by this december. I wasn't expecting the same activity as last year but I do think he'll fight once more this year, and then 2 more times in 2027.
>>154477565cheers lad
I think people are overexaggerating the flaws in Inoues performance today. Nak really couldnt do anything at all up until the 7th round where he did well to tire inoue a bit with his onslaught until the 10th, but then Inoue got his energy back and dominated the next 2 rounds again. I didnt see any signs that Inoues lost his step at all, maybe his power isnt what it once was but he looked as fast and precise as ever. >>154478203Pretty much this. Felt like Nak was extremely hesistant in the first half of the fight because there was a large speed difference between the 2 of them.
This fight was not close at all, inoue controlled the pace and nakatani only did well in 2 rounds. But it is clear inoue is not in his prime anymore, he shouldve k.o'd nakatani theres no excuse for him not doing that. I think bam would beat inoue.
junko nacraptani doesn't belong anywhere near the top 10 p4p
>>154478960I definitely think he belongs over Navarrete and Collazo, even if Navarrete is only a placeholder until Boots gets unified at 154. Just drop him below Haney and Benavidez for now.
>>154476764inoue fights at 122 and has said multiple times he will not move up in weight. so hes going to continue to fight uber drivershe didnt even want to fight ball whos style is tailor made for him. hes just cashing in on le undefeated at 101 lbs and redditors will still glaze him forever
Hernandez would murder Inogay, just like he did Nakatani.
>>154478490>>154478510>>154478522can you fucking stop it already
