Remind how long they’ve been top this season?
(Hint: they aren’t top even now, and require Hearts to lose by at least 4 goals tomorrow to do so)

Some dodgy decisions from the officials at today's match. To the surprise of no-one.

>Douglas "Cunt" Ross misses an obvious red card (VAR had to correct)
>Douglas "Cunt" Ross then calls an onside goal offside (VAR hat to correct)
>VAR awards Hibs goal despite the ball rolling down striker's forearm (which had moved towards the ball to control it)
>Officials miss a blatant two-handed shove on Celtic attacker, pushing him over and out of the box
Terrible from SFA today. Both BBC and Sky's pundits questioning all of the above, even Kris Boyd didn't think Hibs goal should have stood.

I'm looking forward more to tomorrow than today's game. A win-win regardless but you gotta think Rangers gubbing Hearts would be great for Celtic. Which is nice - cheers, bares.
>>
>>154497324
Hearts gubbing New Rangers is more helpful. Under no circumstance should the big huns get a free crack at £40m CL windfall.
>>
Imagine if hearts are 3 points behind on the last day of the season and win the league with a late goal at smeltic park
I’d just kill myself desu it’s not getting any better from there

This is a HUGE day for Scottish football.

I agree but only because I don't want to see the Celtic emblem

>Win for Rangers -
Celtic could afford a draw (against Rangers or Motherwell) + 2 wins = Title.
>Win for Hearts -
Rangers are done and dusted BUT Celtic would need 3 wins + overturn Hearts current +5 GD (e.g. 3-0 win final game)
>Draw -
3 wins for Celtic OR 1 draw v Rangers + 2 wins AND +5 GD overturn.

Basically a Rangers win would be best for Celtic arithmetically, but that also leaves Rangers still with a chance of winning title. My preference but, as said, every result here has it's plus and minuses.
>>
>>154517423
I've done it you fags. Now get in there.

3 comfortable wins left for Celtic.
They'll probably score about 12 goals without reply.

I guess Scotland has even more of a culture of pretending their league is just the worst thing on the planet than MLS does, but I love the little halfway split thing they do with the fixtures
>>
>>154522759
its actually 3/4 way and only kind of half works because SPL team league positions are mostly predictable - you have some teams playing each other 3 times and others 4 times. This season its worked out great tho, no argument, mostly as Celtic & Rangers were both managed by incompetents for a bit until A Challenger Appeared. Split is like a fairer league playoff system.
>>
>>154513465
They tried that before. They got raped.
>>
>>154505586
Technically its "yet to play", they only played a day apart because of TV scheduling within the same competition. If not for TV, Hearts would play their game on the same day as Celtic.
To use a contrasting example, Man City are currently "a game in hand" to Arsenal, that is due to scheduling delays between different competitions rather than TV splitting up fixtures of the same matchday.
>>
>>154528598
I've never heard anyone refer to it as a game in hand when it's the same weekend of fixtures not completed yet, it's a game in hand when a game gets postponed or moved for whatever reason and you have to catch up later when there's a gap to fit it in.
