Are they still based nazis? Football hooliganism is dead in UK and their star player is a mudslim
yes they are famous for their KKK connection as well.
i have a black british penpal who's a millwall fan. AFAIK it's a meme more than anythingif we consider the millwall fans racist then every single club that has played against vinicius is racist too
In England we have a chant that we use against Millwall fans and it goes a little something like this.Millwall,Millwall,You're all really dreadful,And your girlfriends are unfulfilled and alienated.

>>154529015Millwall have never been nazis, they just get that tag because their a working class team and the middle class media can't stand anything that doens't abide by their narrow minded view of morality

>>154529015>Football hooliganism is dead in UKIs it really? I got the impression at the very least the spirit was alive from here, have I been lied to?>and their star player is a mudslimWhat's wrong with that? You don't want a Jew on your team, do you?
>>154530523>Is it really? I got the impression at the very least the spirit was alive from here, have I been lied to?If I had to guess it's like if you don't see it at the stadium or if it happens outside then it doesn't exist sort of thing.
>>154530523It's impossible to say that there's no hooliganism, but compared to the 1980s, there is no hooliganism. I've never seen any at any matches I have been to, but then that's only about ten matches in my whole life. I suspect most of /sp/ is similar. My friend's brother and dad are hardcore Burnley fanatics, and they have been arrested at matches multiple times, so they must have been doing something. The brother has a story about going to an away game recently, he met a fan from the opposing team who asked if he wanted to have a fight. He said yes, and the opposing fan said, "Great; let me just pull out the knife I brought with me and then we can start", and so my friend's brother changed his mind and ran off. That doesn't really fit the standard definition of hooliganism for me, but perhaps you feel differently.
>>154531421Man that knife guy is lucky he wasn't pulling that shit with me. I'd have said "ok dickhead take a swing with that little pencil sharpener then we'll see what happens next" as he swing for me I'd grab his arm, judo throw him to the ground then jump on his head and kick the knife out of his hand. I'd probably try to get a pint after if they wouldn't just send me to jail.
>>154530620Football in England under went massive corporate sanitisation post Euro 96. CCTV, banning orders, travel bans, increased ticket prices, all seater stadiums, increased day trippers, mass immigration all served to move out the old guard and disconnect football clubs from the local people. Firms still exist but not in the way they did in the 70's and 80's. Now it's tifo cosplay ultras in the stadium.
>>154529015
>>154529391They were nationalists. In the 90's and 2000's a lot of firms were associated with Combat 18.
>>154529505You know fuck all, Millwall were never skinheads. West Ham and Chelsea were heavily associated with skin head movement but Millwall hated both of them so dressed more in the typical 'Casual' fashion >>154532384That clearly says Chelsea mate. Although I don't doubt there were some Millwall in Combat 18, there were also turks and blacks who ran about with Millwall firms, probably more than there were Millwall supporters in Combat 18All the stuff about Millwall being far right, racist, political is genuinely bollocks. Millwall are just old school working class who love a fight and that's it.
>>154531421>Great; let me just pull out the knife I brought with me and then we can startGame's gone.
>>154531716Just look at how English fans behaved abroad even up until the 2010s - yes the local police would often goad and harass them.
They racially abused one of their own players the other month, so yes.
>>154532753Millwall were right wing. West Ham had Cass Pennant in the ICF, doesn't mean they were all above being racist because he was black. Millwall and West Ham were both the same that way, you could be accepted in if it was your club and you stood with them.
>>154529034I think the truth is that the hooligan group(s) around Millwall were racists or at least some of them and that because they became famous for being hooligans is the reason for the racism connection with the club. It’s not a racist club it just had some famous racist hooliganism associated with it

>>154533251It made a difference in London. In the 70's you had people coming into your street, smashing your pubs, you defended your territory. If you were away you went to take their ends. It was local pride, it was affordable distraction for young men before the internet. Most West Ham supporters now live in Essex or another one of the home counties. Only a third of London is white and where properties are sky high prices you'll have developers wanting to go to places like Bethnal Green and knock down a hundred year old gym so they can build a penthouse.
>>154531716But this whats weird, in mainland europe we can talk about 3 things: calm fans/seated fans/familiesThe chaotic short-side section/Ultras who sing every minute and make amazing TifosAnd thirdly Hooligans/FirmsIn England they only had the first and the last in that list, that meant too much hooliganism in the ground (in Europe our firms arrange fights in industrial areas and very seldom take it into the ground) so when they sanitized the it got way too sanitized and all soul left.
>ynw Italy having all of England's group stage games take place at the same stadium in Cagliari in attempt to contain English hooligans to the island of Sardinia but it meant England effectively had a home stadium
>>154534687Every hooligan is an ultra, they're more of a subcategory.
