I'm dead excited to be an obnoxious cunt about a sport most of my friends don't even like at all in a month. I don't even care if we win or lose the cup too much, but I'll make them care that's for sure

when I lived in an obnoxious, hipster part of town full of southerners there was a pub which VERY PROUDLY had a sign saying they didn’t show football during the last World Cup

Every time I was on my way somewhere I would pop in and ask if they would stick the football on and they would get incredibly upset. Id reply to faceberg comments where people asked the best place to watch the WC and recommend their pub. It drove them nuts
